Axis studios is back open for business with a newly refurbished, socially distanced, covid-secure room. We've added a new ceiling, new heaters and electrics. It has been freshly painted with shed loads of extra insulation and soundproofing added for great sound and to keep you toasty warm through winter!

As per the lockdown guidelines set out last night the studios will be closed until further notice. Any existing booking will be classed as cancelled for now. Stay well and we hope to see you soon.

Please see the below message ref the recording studio.

The rehearsal spaces remain open at present with the guidelines we sent out the other day, but we do strongly advise that you keep to the social distancing guidelines. The white room is large enough for a 5 piece band and the black room for a 4 piece to maintain safe distances. All surfaces and equipment is being wiped clean at the end of any session ready for the next band. Keep your hands clean with the soap available in the toilets.

Hi folks, it’s with regret that I have decided to close the studio for the foreseeable future until it is safe to reopen. It is too difficult to adhere to social distancing in the confines of the studio. I will still be doing any mixing and remote projects as usual. This is going to be a difficult time but nothing compared to the amazing work that Key workers are doing up and down the country. I will rearrange all current bookings ASAP

Very strange times we are living in! We want everyone to be safe so we have taken some actions and requests to help:

- all door handles, mic stands, mics, kettle handle etc have been wiped down with anti- bacterial wipes, we will do this at the end of each session.
- for the moment we will continue with free tea/coffee but we ask that you put any used mugs and spoons on the tray which is located on the large table opposite the tea station.
- if the singer has their own mic you could bring this along
- if any of the band have any signs of illness or Live with elderly folks we kindly ask that you don’t come to the studios during this time
- The toilet has hand wash and disposable hand towels, please use them! If we can ever locate any hand sanitiser we will put that in place as well

We will continue to operate as normal as much as possible as long.
