Well an afternoon of paperwork and the accountant seems to be happy 😊 this year has been our biggest year for charity events, we always try and do these for £0 or very little cost and the totals are now in we have helped raise just over £26,000 for charities in Stoke on Trent & Staffordshire
(Tractor runs, forget me knot UNHS trust, poppy appeal, donkey sanctuary, dementia uk & cancer research, Wendy jones trust) This hasn’t been with out hard work organising and working with multiple organisations. In the new year we we will holding our first charity event to celebrate this record and help raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing,
Keep an eye out in 2025 when we will announce more events already booked and in the diary including our own Mental Health Awareness event bringing everyone together more will be revealed in January

This year we are super excited to be supporting Forsbrook Parish Council with Santa and his sleigh please see his route and join us all for some Carols in the park with Blythe Bridge High School & Sixth Form from 19:30 the event is free and photos and maybe a little gift from Santa if you have been good 😊

Well Christmas is here and what can we say at last Blythe bridge will have a sleigh visit to see children all over the village. With a successful light switch on, keep you eyes peel for Santas route around Forsbrook Parish Council on the 15th of December starting at 3pm a big thank you to all involved and The Black C**k Inn for hosting along with the parish council and for choosing us to attend and be part of all things Xmas to keep everyones spirits high in the hard times

This is a stern message and thanks to one individual we have now changed our process for collection of payment

As of Monday the 25th of November all parties and events must now be paid up front with in 24hrs of date fail to do so will involve your venue left with a bad review not by me your customers as we will not be in attendance
I am a business just like each venue and have costs to cover free events only happen when the business can afford and for a cause that we support the people know who they are and think they have taken me for a mug that will be untill a letter arrives yes it will cost us more but at least we will have been paid for the job and make a stand against people who mug other businesses off !!! Thinking they are better

They have since been blacklisted by events uk by ourselves we will never return to the pub not even for a personal drink while under the current management!

Anyway we are proud to have many events booked in over this Xmas period and will give everybody the night they deserve see you all soon and keep an eye out for public events we are working together with local council and communities

On Saturday we had the pleasure of supplying sound, lighting, karaoke & disco and general help along with dilhorne village hall to congratulate Mr & Mrs douglas on there wedding day from speeches to closing the night it was action packed to ensure the lovely bride, groom and guests had the day and night to remember.
