I HAVE SEARCHED LONG AND HARD FOR A DESIGN TOOL WHERE I CAN CREATE MY OWN DIY BOOK COVER DESIGNS AND INTERIOR PAGES EASILY AT MINIMAL COST AND WITHOUT THE CHEW OF FINDING CREATIVE ASSETS AND FONTS WITH LICENSE KEYS...

Canva USED TO BE the Amazon KDP self-publisher's go-to tool for all design requirements. However, Canva states that you cannot use Canva's Assets or Fonts for books on KDP as you never own the copyright to them (even if you have modified them). Unfortunately, many Self-publishers who have ignored this and continued to use Canva have had their accounts banned.

🌟 Struggling with Writer's Block/Productivity for your Amazon KDP books? 🌟

Hia Mates! We've all been there – staring at a blank page or mindlessly scrolling Amazon trying to generate ideas for what to publish next. It can be frustrating, but it doesn't have to hold you back from progressing. Here are some ideas I have used to get the ideas or words flowing:

1. Change Your Scenery 🌳 Sometimes, a fresh environment can spark new ideas. Head to a remote cave (like me here), a cozy café, or even just a different room in your home.

2. Set a Timer ⏰ Give yourself a short, pressure-free writing sprint or ideas brainstorm. Set a timer for 10-15 minutes and work without stopping. No second-guessing!

3. Read Something New 📚 Dive into a book, article, or blog post in a genre you don’t usually read. It can ignite inspiration and offer a new perspective. I promise I don’t read romance novels…

4. Create a Mind Map 🧠 Visualise your ideas by jotting them down on paper. Connect related thoughts and see where your imagination takes you. My first fantasy book started this way!

5. Take a Break ☕ Sometimes, stepping away is the best thing you can do. Take a walk, meditate, or even just watch the Telly. Return to your publishing work with a refreshed mind.

6. Join a Writing/publishing Group on FB 👥 Connect with fellow writers/publishers for support and motivation. Share your struggles, exchange ideas, and celebrate each other's successes.

7. Embrace Imperfection ✍️ Remember, the first draft of your book doesn’t have to be perfect. Create freely and allow yourself to make mistakes. Editing comes later!
