The Role - Junior / Middleweight Editor

Hours - 09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (Flexible, with some remote working allowed and occasional overtime required)

Location - Heald Green South Manchester (Parking onsite)

Salary - £22K - £26K (Experience depending)

Start Date January 2022

We’re excited to introduce The Lightboard, a bespoke tool for video production. The Lightboard can be used for corporate comms, e-leaning and branded content videos. It acts like a transparent whiteboard which is positioned in front of the presenter allowing them to draw/write on the glass while facing their audience.

Events have all become virtual this year and this could continue well into 2021. If you need help with running yours we can provide Remote Live Streaming for events, either from a studio with multiple camera setups or using Zoom/Teams feeds, video and slide deck play out. All via our ATEM Mini switcher and Atomos Sh**un Inferno monitor/recorder.

Why Choose Wolverhampton Grammar School Sixth Form? This is a promo we filmed and edited to showcase the Sixth Form. We had a brief to create an engaging film to target the younger viewers who might be interested in attending the school. We wanted it to be student led and to hear personal stories from them, the pace of the edit and graphics used played a big part in keeping the energy high and we filmed it all on the Sony FX9 using Sigma Cine lenses to give it a high-end cinematic feel.

Amazing to see how grass roots football clubs have been giving back to their local communities during lockdown and getting rewarded for their efforts!

Here’s the first in a series of films we’re making for Kia x UEFA Europa League with Bleacher Report Football. Featuring Juan Mata and presented by 1Xtra DJ Reece Parkinson.

This week we filmed some content for The University of Bolton, as they will be welcoming students back in September they wanted to put the message out of how the uni is all prepped and setup for students once again.

So good to be back behind the camera. Shot it all on the RED today as my FS7 is being serviced, plus the Setup and RIG on the RED makes it so easy to film with and the results are stunning.

Getting into a good system now with the Covid guidelines and setup a remote client monitor and teradek so they could see the image 5 metres away without being over my shoulder, rigged a boom arm up overhead to avoid any contact with the interviewees and setup and derigged solo. Worked perfect.
