Happy Monday! 🌟We are finally introducing the last one of our authors, Utku.

Utku’s piece, “A Decadent Company”, will take you on a haunting post-apocalyptic journey through desolated streets, following a man trying to escape the memories of a forgotten past.

Utku is a short fiction writer from Istanbul. He has a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. His writings often focus on trying to make sense of the emotions that are embedded in his subconscious mind, believing that almost any work of fiction can give context to the vague thoughts that are detached from reality and floating in the void of the mind ever discontentedly. To that extent, he plans to keep on writing until the last restless thought he has finds a new plane of existence in the form of a story.

Happy Friday everyone! 🌹Today we are happy to introduce you to Marion, one of Sonder’s authors.

Marion’s poems, “Blankets”, “Sofa” and “Saturday Night Treat”, touch on the attachments to objects as symbols of our attachment to people. They will make you reflect on love, loss, and the meaning of being human.

Marion graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2013 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art Photography. Since then, she has been creating artists’ books and teaching a variety of bookbinding workshops. She makes and sells a range of notebooks and sketchbooks influenced by nature and her love of gardening, but is tired of making blank books. Studying for the MLitt, Marion hopes she now has something to write in them!

It’s that time of the week again!🔥 Today we meet Ewan, one of our writers.

Ewan’s piece, “The Art of Lost Corners”, immerses the reader in a cosy camping trip filled with poetry and mythical beauty.

Ewan, an English & Journalism graduate, considers himself a poet but rarely proves it. After various attempts at different jobs, and hating them all, Ewan has compiled a portfolio of stories and novels that revolve around a wandering poet sorcerer. Raised in Perthshire, with a few years in Japan, Ewan now oversees three bars, cycles a lot, and plays DND on Tuesdays.

Happy Monday!✨ Today we’re introducing Amanda, one of Sonder’s authors.

Amanda’s piece, “Mayfield’s Rage”, is the harrowing tale of one witch family’s struggle to protect what is dear to them. Her short story is visceral and gut wrenching.

Amanda is a writer from rural Montana by way of Colorado. She is currently obtaining her Master’s Degree in Creative Writing at the University of Stirling in Scotland. With a background in marketing and communications, she decided to turn her hobby of writing into a craft. Embracing the weird, she writes realistic fantasy and historical fiction with some poetry mixed in.
