Zoom meetings now have a feature called "meeting summary" which uses AI to generate a summary of your meeting or event once it's over.

Today we were in the warehouse configuring and testing one of the multi PC "zoom racks" prior to it going out to facilitate a hybrid event next week. I was amused after packing everything up to receive a "summary" of my day's activities from zoom. As a tool to give you a summary of a long day's conference, it's great, but in the warehouse, I'm not sure the AI fully understood what was going on.....

Just wrapped up one of the biggest events I've ever managed (so far): The 10-year anniversary concert for The Kelpies in Falkirk.

Huge thanks to the phenomenal team at MM Sound and Lighting for entrusting me with this high-profile event and for their exceptional support that made it all possible.

A shoutout to the incredible team of full-time and freelance technicians who put in countless hours to make it happen. You were all heroes. Special props to Keigan, MM's lighting designer, for making the Kelpies look absolutely fantastic.

After 7 months of planning, 9 days on-site, 11 burgers, 5 hotdogs and seemingly endless truck loads of kit, it's come and gone, and now we're onto the next adventure.
