"Web development refers to building, creating, and maintaining websites. It includes aspects such as web design, web publishing, web programming and database management."

Ok to put it in a nutshell depending on the type of site you like to setup, that can be done for a fee. Normally from a few hundred to thousand pounds.

Types of Sites:

Basic / Brochure

One Page / Landing Page

Portfolio / Gallery

E-Commerce / E-Store

We would charge at a reasonable rate, that is competitive but also our rates would be the same, where our competitors usually would raise their rates to cover the costs.

Ex: - Brochure Site:
----------------------
Brochure Site Template - £150.00
Branding / Logo Work - £100.00
Google / SEO Setup - £90.00
Web Hosting - £30.00
Domain Name & E-mail Address Setup - £30.00

Total Cost - £400.00

They is also a "Maintenance Charge" but that would be a separate cost to update and maintain your website.

We hope this post has it a little more clearer what "Web Development" is all about.
