Founded by friends Matt Ireland & David Whitehouse, Mad Audio was born for a love of live music and an understanding of what a good sound brings to a band. As musicians we've played and worked together for many years and have jointly taken the role of sound engineer for many bands, now with more time on our hands and a passi

on for live sound, we wanted to bring our expertise to the local music scene, offering to help bands and venues showcase live music in its best light. Over the years the PA and sound of bands has just been thrown together and a lucky band member (or Unlucky) is tasked with becoming the sound engineer, often effecting there playing or not being able dedicating the effort needed to produce a good sound and adjust during the performance - The sound and balance can make a great band sound epic or a good band sound great - Thats where we come in, we're here to help remove the hassle and allow you to focus on your playing and well do the rest!

New venue for us last night. The Leeds Irish centre, providing our services once again for the Very Beautiful South: tribute. Great venue, amazing bands and the catering isn't bad either! Big thanks to Joe for stepping into his dad's shoes once again!

Just recovering from a busy 3 day beer festival providing sound and lights for a loads of bands at The Crown, Great Casterton, was a very busy weekend with loads of great bands and a packed house all weekend. loads of beer drunk and lots of amazing comments about the bands and sound - so we’re happy boys!

A massive thanks to Steve and Michelle and all the staff for looking after us, all of course all the bands, The Houndogs, Ellie James: Professional Singer, Groove Cartell, The Glorious One Eyed Cats, Tom Stone Music, McGoo, Millstone Grit Choir, Bianca&thetopcats, & Cosmic Rodney.

Typically we always forget to take photos as busy mixing, but here’s one or two! Please share any others you have!!

Now time to WIP off the remains of the gravel dust and prep for this Saturday Dedication19 in Peterborough!

Had a great, but busy day mixing the Deeping raft race @ the Iron Horse Ranch House, and loads of feedback of the the positive kind - not the audio kind! Thanks to Inertia Band, The Undefined, 2020 Vision - was a pleasure mixing you all hope we can do it again! Soon! Was great to catch up with Habib Khan also!

Now next stop Millstone Inn Ryhall for some of The Houndogs & Cecil Farayi Music on Friday!! Busy August!!

We had the pleasure of supporting our local village pub by supplying sound and lighting for their beer festival this weekend, with some great entertainers! It was a pleasure meeting and mixing the and - we hope to see you again soon. Massive thanks to Andrew Thomas Sophie Burkhill and the rest of The Millstone, Ryhall team for looking after us!

Amazing night from the Motor City Vipers yet again at Holiday Inn Peterborough! Congratulations to Hawk Audiovisual on a stellar stage set up for the event and helping the NSPCC raise lots of cash for a very worthy cause. Special thanks also go to Joe Ireland for stepping in and filling in for his dad, who is STILL floating about, sunning himself in the Caribbean somewhere...🙄🤣

Whilst one half of MAD audio is relaxing in the sun, the other half is out mixing a show! It never stops and I do feel a little guilty - only a little!!
