Great family get together Compton Verney with the added bonus of the permanent collection of Asian artifacts, Louise Bourgeiose exhibition and pieces that I’d like to keep by Elizabeth Frink and Winifred Nicholson x
Back in the studio after two months in school - building candle stacks with all the green china I’ve been collecting over the years 💚
Just 20 seconds of rain on leaves and water at Barnsdale Gardens - came to paint, realised I’m a bit rubbish at it and need to do it more often (and that’s why I draw with china)
More garden balls made to order - I wasn’t sure about the chosen colours but the brief was ‘a mixture with surprises’ - I hope they’ve managed that 🤞
Some rainbow garden balls were collected today - made to order with a special request for the stripes to be vertical ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
One minute sun then a snow flurry ☀️❄️☀️❄️
First stab at a Mediterranean themed design for a local school. At 18m long it’s a biggie and going to keep me occupied for a few months. Always a bit daunting at this stage, so many elements to pull together before I can get tiling.
Anyway, looking forward to life after this, I’ll be restarting my studio workshops in May, dates to be released next week here and on the Unique Cottage Studios website ###
Not sure where it’s going but needed to bash some metal today.
Very speedy tiling - I really do wish it was this quick!
Lots of work going on for hallatonartisan including stars and hearts xx
