5 weeks after Freedom Day... How do you feel? Do you enjoy life the same way as before? Let's take a look back at this article by Vasil Tranenski... share your thoughts with us!
..From this Monday, July 19, we are free. Officially, legally. Expected. Maybe a little scary? We are free to see each other, to hug, to kiss, to go to work, to be normal. We are free to love each other. To show it, to feel it, to experience it.

Have we forgotten what it is? Are we afraid of freedom?

After one of the lockdowns, I had the feeling that there was radiation outside. I didn't want to go out. I didn't want to meet people. I didn't know how to communicate with them. Should I be careful, should I be irresponsible, should I smile - will they see my smile under the mask? I felt like a zombie, living my whole life in the virtual world. My brain was itching. Inside. I felt dizzy from the constant hanging in front of the monitor. Virtual life. Virtual meetings. Virtual stores. Virtual relationships.

Virtual nonsense.

Do you like it that way? I know it's easier to order food through a mobile app. I know it's easier to work on slippers and a bathrobe from home. I know the world is changing and technology is evolving. I know it and I accept it. But that doesn't mean I like it. In a world of artificial intelligence, I choose real relationships and livе contact. I refuse to live in a world where I'm afraid to visit my relatives or hug my loved ones.

On Monday, get out of the house with a head held high and breathe the air like you haven't done in the last year and a half. Leave the mask at home. No, I am not saying you should be irresponsible. I am not saying you should not to take care of yourself or others. I'm just asking you to live. The way you want it, the way you deserve it. Love life and live it. Do not put your soul, heart and mind in a lockdown. They need freedom and space like never before. You too. Celebrate freedom. Now we know exactly how valuable it is.

5 diseases triggered by stress, part 2

Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Multiple sclerosis affects the ability of nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord to communicate with each other. In MS, the body's own immune system attacks and destroys the myelin sheath of axons in the brain. When myelin is lost, axons cannot conduct signals efficiently. There is a gradual loss of control over the body. If left untreated, MS leads to complete disability. The treatment itself is not final, it just keeps the body and mind in shape without the disease progressing.

Crohn's disease
Crohn's disease is a chronic recurrent inflammation that can develop in any part of the digestive tract. The disease most often affects the small intestine. Typical symptoms are abdominal pain, diarrhea, anemia, loss of appetite.

Celiac disease (gluten intolerance)
Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease, which can occur in genetically predisposed people, when it is ingested. It is estimated that it affects 1 in 100 people in the world.
If you have gluten intolerance, eating gluten causes an immune response in the small intestine. During this time, this reaction damages the mucous membrane of the small intestine and prevents the appearance of some nutrients (malabscopes).
Depression is often caused by diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, bloating and anemia, and can lead to serious illness.

5 Diseases triggered by stress, part 1

Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a common skin disease with a chronic recurrent course, which is characterized by the appearance of itchy areas in various places on the skin. The changes on the skin have a characteristic localization - elbows, knees, waist, hairy part of the head. In recent years, it has become clear that changes in the skin and joints, which have long been considered the only manifestations of the disease, are accompanied by changes in fat metabolism and atherosclerotic changes in blood vessels.

Hashimoto
Hashimoto's disease is a disease of the thyroid gland. It produces hormones that control metabolism and many other processes in our body.
When you suffer from Hashimoto's disease, your immune system begins to attack the thyroid gland, causing it to swell and become irritated. When this happens, the thyroid gland cannot produce hormones in normal amounts as before.
Symptoms include unrestrained weight gain, depression, joint pain and stiffness, dry skin, hoarse voice.
Of course, the person who can diagnose you is only an endocrinologist after hormonal tests. Here we share general health information.

THE GOLDEN RULE OF THE EXPERT:
3 TIPS FOR BEAUTY OVER 40
by Galina Assenova, a professional beautician with 20 years of experience, owner of a cosmetic studio in Portsmouth.
page: Gal Beauty Therapist

Beauty advice is often given to young women by explaining how to keep their youth longer.
However, older women are rarely advised on how to maintain their figure and appearance, because it is expected that they have already established enough routine in this regard. Women over the age of 40 mainly trust certain brands of cosmetics, they know what they tolerate and what they don't, they have understood which is the right combination of products and make-up for them, etc.

Here are three tips for ladies over 40 who want to look good:

1. Don't worry about scrubs

Exfoliation removes dead skin cells that are accumulated on the upper layer of the skin. Removing them can even change the colour of your skin, because it cleans clogged pores of impurities. These clogged pores are there regardless of your age and can lead to pimples.
Exfoliants smooth the texture of the skin and give it a softer and more elastic look. Just don't be too rough with your skin, so as not to redden it.

2. Use products with peptides that improve skin elasticity

Over time, the skin loses its elasticity and may shrink and sag. Most anti-aging skin creams contain peptides that help increase its density and thus improve its elasticity. Peptides help cells produce more collagen and elastin.

3. Remember skin hydration

With age, the skin becomes drier because the sebaceous glands become less active. Therefore, it is important to choose an oil-based moisturizing product that contains Vaseline, along with antioxidants or alpha hydroxy acids.

Did you know that...

Tea is the most delicious medicine created by nature. A few fruits or a few petals, which have gathered the power of nature, help us to feel better, to be healthier or not to get sick at all.
Some of the most famous herbs and their actions are passed down from generation to generation - thyme is against cough, chamomile is when your throat hurts, and mint is for soothing.

Lemon balm - against stress

Lemon balm has a calming effect on the nervous system, has antispastic and anticonvulsant action. It stimulates appetite and digestive processes, suppresses nausea and vomiting.

Green tea - against colon problems and constipation

Frequent drinking reduces the possibility of the development of cancer cells in the human body. It also has the amazing ability to lower cholesterol, as well as reduce the likelihood of cardiovascular disease. Last but not least, it strengthens the body and burns the accumulated fat.

Mint - against stomach pain

Refreshing mint tea helps a lot against flatulence and is great if you ate something heavy and greasy the night before.

Black tea - instead of coffee

Black tea is rich in antioxidants and hydrates the body, unlike coffee, which dehydrates it. The energy boost you will get from coffee may seem stronger at first, but it will pass quickly. While black tea will wake you up and cheer you up more slowly, but on the other hand - for the whole day.
And after all, drinking tea is a much more aristocratic activity than drinking coffee.

Thyme - against cough

Aromatic thyme tea with a spoonful of honey is the first "medicine" against the onset of upper respiratory tract infection.
In general, the herb has anti-inflammatory action, is rich in antioxidants and you will not go wrong if you end your days more often with such tea.

If there’s one word we’ve heard a lot over the last few years it’s mindfulness. Held up as the potential solution to countless problems from insomnia and stress through chronic pain to overeating, exponents would have us believe it holds the key to a calmer, more productive life, but what is it and how do we achieve it? The shelves of libraries and bookshops are stocked with volumes on the subject and there are apps to download or classes we can attend, but is there something we can do for ourselves and begin today?

Life has a tendency to push us out of shape. Years of bending, lifting and carrying – bags on shoulders, children on hips – along with crossing our legs and tapping away on keyboards, may have left us with some awkward postural habits. Then there's the impact our emotions can have on our bodies: whenever we’re worried, embarrassed, exhausted or upset, every part of our bodies respond. What start out as helpful, comforting movements, or part of our natural fight and flight response, soon become habits. Over time, those muscle tensions take their toll.

5 Plants You Should NOT Grow in Your Garden
When You Have a Dog

Yep ... maybe your dog really loves bones, but have you ever thought that he or she likes to gnaw on plants? Here is our recommendation for 5 plants that you should NOT grow in your garden if you have a friend with paws.

05/08/2021

Lately, I often think about gratitude. We underestimate it. We neglect it. We don't "use" it enough. Are we afraid to thank someone? To the universe, to the higher power, to someone close to us or even to ourselves? Will it affect our ego in any way if we do it, will we become weaker?
In fact, I want you to look at gratitude in two ways.
First of all, in a more "weekday" plan. Our existence would not be possible without communication with other people. This inevitably creates interesting situations and interactions. Someone is helping us with something, makes a gesture to us, devotes their time and energy. Say thank you to them! But say it honestly. Sometimes a person does not need any gratitude other than this one and strong word.
But to be honest, today I want to talk much more about gratitude as one of the laws of the Universe: the only way to get more is to be grateful for what you already have.
Yes, you read that right. I know that your neighbour has a better garden than yours, your son’s classmates look like angels compared to him, and your best friend's husband is many times more caring than yours, BUT... this is their life, and in fact you have no idea what it really is.
Focus on yourself. Do you have a roof over your head? Dinner at your table? Eyes that see and ears that hear? A family that loves you and that you love? If you have these things, then you have everything. Look up and say your sincere thanks to the whole Universe. Only with such an attitude will you be able to attract the other things you want in your life.
Make gratitude your daily routine. Try this "exercise" for at least a day. Thank for every little thing that happens to you. And if you accidentally forget the steaks in the oven and they burn out - be thankful that you even had the opportunity to buy steaks. (And yes, I'm aware that using steaks to illustrate the laws of the universe is, to put it mildly, "ridiculous," but why not start with the little things?)
There are so many things we should all be grateful for. And life flies away so fast that we don't have time to start tomorrow. Let's do it here and now.

Youth hands at all ages:
5 powerful home remedies against wrinkles and age spots

The skin of the hands is extremely sensitive, so it deserves special and constant attention and care. This is due to the fact that our hands are constantly exposed to the sun and toxins, which causes wrinkles, dryness and cracking.

There are many natural home treatments that do not cause side effects and supply the skin with nutrients.

Aloe vera and coconut oil
Both products are useful for moisturizing and restoring the skin of the hands. This is an effective and economical way to reduce blemishes, wrinkles and other signs of aging that tend to develop.
Recipe: In a blender, combine 5 tablespoons of fresh aloe juice and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil until smooth. Store in the refrigerator and apply 2-3 times a day.

Castor oil with cocoa butter
Both contain active compounds that help increase collagen levels. This helps to avoid annoying hand problems such as dryness and fine lines.
Recipe: 3 tablespoons cocoa butter and 1 tablespoon castor oil. Melt the cocoa butter and add the castor oil. Mix well and store in a glass jar in the refrigerator. Massage on clean skin 2 to 3 times a day.

Banana with honey
The mixture of these ingredients will help protect your hands from toxins and sun damage. This replaces even the best humidifier. It will keep your skin hydrated, reduce wrinkles and age spots.
Recipe: Mix 1/3 of a ripe banana with 2 teaspoons of honey. Gently massage the skin and leave on for 30-40 minutes. Repeat it using it 3 times a week.

Strawberry milk
This mixture will help soften your hands and prevent the appearance of wrinkles and age spots.
Recipe: Mix 5 strawberries and 5 tablespoons of milk in a blender. Apply on clean skin and leave on for 40 minutes. Rinse with cold water and do this at least 3 times a week.

Olive oil and oatmeal
The mixture of these ingredients contains fatty acids and vitamin E, as well as antioxidants, which are essential for maintaining healthy skin on your hands.
Recipe: Mix 2 teaspoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of crushed oatmeal. Apply to the skin with a gentle massage. Leave on for 30 minutes.

Finally, a little tip: after applying the mask, put on disposable gloves. As a result of the heat, the substances will be more actively absorbed into the skin, and you will be able to do some other work at the same time, too.

Did you know that...

Building 87, Washington, US is the quietest place in the world?

Described as “where sound goes to die”, this Microsoft research lab in the city of Redmond, Washington, is officially the quietest place on Earth, according to Guinness World Records.
The silent space, created by the tech company for optimal audio and device testing, is an anechoic chamber – a room insulated from exterior sounds and designed to absorb all reflections of sound and electromagnetic waves inside, making it completely echo-free.
“The quietest sound theorised by mathematicians is Brownian motion – the movement of particles in a gas or liquid. The next step would be a vacuum, like space, with a complete absence of sound”, the company explains.
“The sound floor in Microsoft’s anechoic chamber is closer to Brownian motion than it is to even other anechoic chambers. It has the lowest sound ever recorded and is the optimal environment for audio testing.”

Floral water is a herbal extract that is obtained by distilling various plants. It is also called hydrolate and is a by-product of the production of essential oils, leaving all the water-soluble substances from the plants.

The benefits of floral waters vary depending on the plant.

Rose
This is one of the most common and most commonly used floral waters. It soothes irritated and reddened skin and restores its balance. It has a tonic and moisturizing effect, which makes it ideal for people with dry skin.

Lavender
Lavender floral water has a calming effect on insect bites, skin irritations and sunburn. Supports the rapid regeneration of damaged skin. It has a mattifying effect and shrinks pores, which makes it preferred for people with oily or combination skin.

Mint water creates a feeling of freshness and is often used during the summer months after the skin has been exposed to the sun for a long time. It is also ideal as a tonic because it shrinks facial pores. Suitable for people with oily skin.

Orange blossom
Orange water is called neroli and is often used as an aromatic additive to various desserts. Floral water has a softening and calming effect, relaxing the senses and allowing for relaxation. Stimulates skin regeneration and regulates oiliness.

Camomile
Chamomile floral water soothes reddened skin, refreshes, moisturizes and helps with tired and swollen eyes. It is used to maintain blonde hair because it preserves and enhances the golden shades and leaves the hair shiny. Suitable for people with dry and sensitive skin.

27/07/2021

Menopause brings many changes that can affect your s*x life, but believe it or not, it is possible to have healthy, satisfying and passionate s*x in the middle of life. Unfortunately, many menopausal women do not experience this passion - more than half of women aged 50-59 have not had s*xual in*******se in the last year. Approximately one-fifth of married or married couples have not had s*x in the past year.

Menopause is an irreversible point in a woman's life, but entering it does not mean that you just have to give up all the negative consequences that can negatively affect your s*x life.

There are still some things you can do to save your s*x life and feel wanted:

- To counteract vaginal dryness, there are products on the market that you can use to relieve the symptoms of vaginal atrophy such as itching, burning, tension or discomfort during in*******se;

- Undergoing hormone therapies - drugs that can stimulate estrogen. Antidrogen therapy, on the other hand, can increase testosterone levels, which has a good effect on s*xual desire.

- Exercise and engage in physical activity. This can increase endurance, improve your mood and physique.

- Vigorous exercise releases endorphins, which are natural mood-boosting and stress-reducing hormones, and increase s*xual desire in both men and women.

- Quit smoking. This bad habit can reduce blood flow to various parts of the body. If the blood circulation is not good enough, you will encounter problems with arousal.

- Discuss your condition with your partner, he should be aware of your feelings and maybe together you will solve some of your problems.

Start the week with something fresh!

DETOXIFYING SMOOTHIE WITH WATERMELON AND CUCUMBER

Slices of watermelon
Cucumber slices
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves

Method of preparation
Pour the same amount of watermelon cubes and cucumber slices into the food processor or blender. Add a few coriander and mint leaves and mash until you get a homogeneous mixture. Add ground black pepper and ice on the eye before drinking.

Benefits
Cucumber helps to get rid of toxins and hydrates skin cells. Mint helps to smooth the passage of bile from the liver to the small intestine during the breakdown of fats. It also relaxes the stomach muscles and adds a pleasant taste and aroma. Watermelon and cucumber contain citrulline, which helps the liver to process and excrete ammonia more efficiently. Coriander leaves are rich in vitamins A and K. They counteract stomach disorders and menstrual disorders, balance blood sugar and cholesterol, improve vision and have a beneficial effect on the skin. Black pepper is rich in vitamin E and improves digestion.

What causes sleep problems and what are the solutions?

Excessive coffee, alcohol and stimulant drinks

Artificial stimulants such as caffeine and alcohol seriously damage sleep. Even alcohol, which is thought to put you to sleep, actually has the opposite effect. Alcoholic sleep is restless, broken and unhealthy. The same goes for cases where you overdo it with coffee - your body is already tired and wants sleep, and the brain seems to be in a feverish anticipation.
Give up afternoon or evening coffee, as well as alcohol just before bed. A glass of wine at dinner, two hours before bedtime, is sufficient.

You have no mode

Going to bed and getting up at the same in the evenings/mornings is very important for maintaining healthy "sleep" habits. Everyone has their own internal biological clock, which tells them when it's time to go to bed. Listen to the signals your body gives you and get into bed no matter if the movie you watch is over or not. You can always watch it, but you can't always "sleep" the next day.

You are nervous

A person's mental state is directly related to the ability to fall asleep quickly and sleep deeply and for a long time. In the situation we are in today - pandemic, insecurity and high general anxiety, it is no surprise that we all have sleep problems.
Try to create new thinking habits - to focus on the positive things, not to "cycle" on the same problem for a long time in your mind and to meditate - all useful and mind-sleeping habits.

The bedroom is not a place to sleep

Inspect your bedroom. Have you turned it into a warehouse or wardrobe? Is it noisy? Are the curtains dark enough and is it pleasantly cool? The body sleeps well in a quiet, dark and cool place. And without anyone kicking or snoring. Use earplugs or sleep in another room if this will ensure your peaceful sleep. There is nothing more important than it in the days and nights when our health is the highest priority.
