This one is very exciting! Last year I was hit up to produce and mix the latest Earthtone9 record. I loved these guys as a young mosher so naturally jumped at the chance. The dudes have written and recorded an absolute beast of a record, with drums being played by the incredible Jason Bowld and bass from yours truly 🙋

Harking back to our more angular, chaotic and ferocious roots this is the heaviest and most intense record we have ever done, with production handled by Lewis Johns

Throwback to recording Mr for 'Where Myth Becomes Memory'. We used his Mapex Saturn for the majority of the drums on the record. The maple shells make these drums very bright which helps make them cut through a dense mix a lot easier. Amazing kits for the price in my opinion! The majority of the snare tone is my trusty 8 lug bell brass and sounds incredible (and very loud) with the right drummer. Lastly we used a Mapex Black Panther 'Predator' copper when for some of the more warmer tones. Hope everyone is enjoying the record ✌️

Rolo Tomassi's 6th album 'Where Myth Becomes Memory' is out NOW. I've been lucky enough to produce all 3 records in the bands unintended trilogy and I'm constantly amazed at their ability to push boundaries on each record. This album was a joy to produce from start to finish and I am grateful to them for putting their trust in me once again. This record deserves repeat listens so go emerse yourself in the bands finest record to date.

Congrats on the release of their incredible debut album 'Victim Of A Modern Age'. I was fortunate enough to tech/engineer the drum recordings as well as mix the album for the guys.

The journey certainly wasn't an easy one for them making this record, but I think the final product is one they can be incredibly proud of 💙

It's been crazy busy here at the moment and whilst I finish up the last couple of sessions this year, it's been good to reflect and start planning for the future in the ever growing thirst for self improvement.

BIG fan of these at the moment. The oversized 4x12 is loaded with V30s and G12H 55s and has an unhealthy amount of bottom end whilst being very balanced throughout the other frequencies. Very very happy!
