This week we wave a fond farewell to one of the Mad Dogs pack. Craig Hookings, our former apprentice and youngest ever employee has left The Dog House this week for the last time and says he aims to pursue a career outside of our industry.

Craig (formerly Dave then Mini Craig or MC to most) joined our ranks in January 2018 as an apprentice after a reference from his dad, a local cameraman and a highly successful work experience week back in July 2017. He clearly impressed that week as he gained his first Broadcast TV credit as a studio camera operator, aged 15!

MC became a permanent member of staff in January 2018. Over the years, Craig went from being a warehouse technician, to a Runner, to a Camera Assistant and occasionally a DIT. He has also grown facial hair, and a mullet!

Craig holds the record for the most 'emergency vehicle recoveries' required by one employee. Considering he lived 5 minutes from the office, thats a pretty impressive record to hold. It wasn't the most reliable of mopeds...

We provided all kit and remote technical assistance to the crews filming in the harsh environment of South East Alaska.
