First time I can remember, going to bed worrying about Saints and waking up still worrying about them. I’m 67 for heaven’s sake! Yet I can’t remember a time when my beloved team was sent out so unprepared and incapable. It was like watching the Christian’s against lions in the Coliseum.

I’m sorry RM but you and all those other overpaid muppets on their iPads need to take unequivocal responsibility. He didn’t recognise his team he said. Nor did they! And nor did anyone else! I really felt sorry for them. It was embarrassing. 😔

What a fanbloodytastic time I’ve had at Music in The City this year! I always do TBF, but this one was just fab. 4 gigs in 2 days, with some if my oldest and best mates in the business: Sean McMenemy, Solly Read, and Brian Wright.

With The AllStars on-mass unavailable, we’d thrown together a set over a few texts, of some of the numbers we’d played at the start of our musical journeys in the 70’s, with a few we’d written ourselves.

After The Social, Belgium and Blues, The Bar On The Square and The Social again … in the company of some super audiences, we’ve decided Sean, Solly, Martin & Brian will occasionally ride again. We had fun.
