This weeks make is the Cwtsh bag from patterns by Mrs H.

Cwtsh is Welsh for a safe space, or a loving hug and is pronounced Kuhtch.

The outer material is from Kaffe Fassett in Japanese chrysanthemum and the lining is from Lewis and Irene from their geometric collection.

The bag is made with a fusible fleece lining to make it soft but slouchy.

It has an over the shoulder strap which allows the bag to sit snug under your arm and is detachable from the bag with swivel clips.

Inside the bag are two pockets one zipper pocket and one slip pocket for dail essentials.

The main bag closes using two magnetic snaps.

The bag also has a pretty feature of exposed box corners (see picture)

The bag measures W11" x H10" x D6"

I have 3 of each design available!

3 layer face masks made with 100% cotton fabric with a middle layer of non woven interfacing.

They are reversible!

These masks have side pleats to ensure a good fit and I have used adjustable soft elastic for more comfort and a better fit.

These don't contain nose wires.

These face masks are standard adult size, I would recommend a size up for the men as they are more comfortable and will cover a small goatee! I will be making some larger ones in due course.

Disposable face masks 😷....... some people have no choice but to wear these in the workplace.

Some people wear them by choice to shops.

The painfully sad part is that so many are getting into domestic waste, and then into the sea, our forest our streets.

The pictures below were all posted in newspapers in May....nearly 5 months has passed and they are still being used.

These masks are causing harm to our environment. If you haven't seen David Attenborough's documentary on Netflix A life on our planet, I urge you to, with a box of tissues!!

I'm selling re-useable face masks to replace disposable ones, I will post them shortly!! Let's do our part to reduce this waste!!!
