We're always aiming to improve our rehearsal rooms, and we've had some issues recently in Studio 2 with bands struggling to put vocals through the PA system without causing feedback. It's a smaller room with a dead acoustic profile.

To improve your experience, we're considering introducing In-Ear Monitors (IEMs) to the room, with a minimum of 4 wired IEM plug in points which would allow each band member to have their own mix. We could provide shared headphones, and you're welcome to bring your own earpieces also.

This would offer clearer sound and better control over your individual mix, helping to eliminate feedback issues and create a more professional rehearsal environment.

Studio 2 is now open & ready for music! Featuring a HK Polar 8 PA system, amplifiers from brands such as Orange, Fender & Crate, with a full 5 piece Mapex drum kit. Housed in our Esmono booth previously owned by ITV, you can wave goodbye to dodgy acoustics.

Studio 2 is currently available between 5pm & 11pm during the week and all day over the weekend, we're hoping to expand the opening hours very soon.

We’re moving into the 21st century - wave goodbye to our traditional mechanical key safe. Codes will now be sent out in your booking reminder that can be keyed straight into this to gain access to the building for your rehearsal!

This’ll help us keep the unit safe & secure out of hours, and also allow you to rehearse with peace of mind that the front door is secure.

Good news - our new Esmono acoustic booth will soon be available for rehearsals around the clock!

It’s had a few homes before us (most notably, ITV) - so we’re busy freshening it up, but it’ll be available very soon with a great backline & PA.

Pinch, punch & all that... it's the 1st November which means our hourly rate has now increased from £10/hour to £13/hour, which remains highly competitive with other available rehearsal rooms in the area.

Our pricing has changed due to continued energy price rises, especially as we're charged on business rates, amongst other things. We don't intend to keep increasing prices and we're happy with where they're at for now.

This will allow us to keep providing the safe & clean space that you all enjoy - thank you all again for your support of Fresh Studios!

As promised... WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are thrilled to announce that we're building a BRAND NEW rehearsal studio complete with FULL RECORDING CAPABILITIES! 🎤🎧

That's right, this is going to be a game-changer! A bigger room means more space to jam, create, and make your musical dreams come true. 🎸🥁

This expansion will allow us to offer you even more of the top-notch services and experiences you've come to love. The room will be fully soundproof, acoustically controlled and we might even throw in some air-conditioning.🌟

Construction is due to start over the next month or so, and we can't wait to welcome you to our new space. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks! 🛠️👀

This won't effect any existing rehearsal bookings, so you're free to jam away in our current studio.

We can't wait to make some noise together in our brand new space! 🎶

We haven't quite worked out the pricing on this new room yet, but our main goal is to provide a safe & clean space for all musicians, so it's a huge priority to keep this affordable for everyone.

Happy Tuesday! We have some exciting news to share with you soon...

But before we do, unfortunately we will no longer be providing jack cables & drum sticks in our rehearsal room. We wanted to create a rehearsal room where you can simply walk in, plug in & start playing; but due to continued theft, we're having to tweak that and that includes the removal of the above.

So just be sure to bring your own jack cables & sticks!

Happy Thursday! Unfortunately, we've had to install CCTV in the rehearsal room itself due to continued abuse & neglect - we're saddened by the minority that cause us a headache, but we're so pleased to have supported so many local musicians with a safe, clean & functional rehearsal space; we don't intend to change that anytime soon!

We're nearing the 6 month mark and so we'd love some feedback on how bands are getting on using the room. Does the room need more of anything, less of anything... do we need to build more rooms?!

We know that the creative process can sometimes be a wild and untamed beast, and that passion is a key part of what makes you all so fantastic. We've been hearing the incredible sounds coming from our studios and trust us, you're all setting the room on fire with your talent! 🎶🔥

But speaking of fire, we're noticing an unfortunate trend - it seems like some gear has been feeling the burn, too! 🥺 We're finding equipment in a less than stellar state, and some even missing entirely. Not cool, guys, not cool.

We're all in this jam session called life together, so let's remember to treat each other, and our beloved equipment, with kindness and respect. Please ensure you leave the room in the same state you found it - clean, neat and ready for the next band to rock out. If something does break (because hey, who among us hasn't gotten a bit carried away in the heat of a wicked solo?), please let us know straight away. We promise to handle it faster than a drum roll. 🥁💨

We pride ourselves on being the most cost-effective rehearsal room around and we are striving to keep it that way. Raising prices is something we'd rather not face.
