Glenfinnan Road Trip | 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My mate Tait and I took a jaunt up to Glenfinnan. I hadn't seen the famous viaduct and fancied a look for myself.
The "Harry Potter" train doesn't run along the West Highland Line this time of the year. This and the fact there were so many people and quite a lot of signs and work debris lying about made the all very underwhelming for me. I much preferred the Jacobite Monument which is basically across the road.
Since we were in the area we swung by the Corpach Shipwreck which sits just a stone's throw from the UK's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. It's quite a surreal sight given its size and location.
On our way home we stopped in Tyndrum for a few photos. There always seems to be a mist making its way along the trees. Great atmosphere. Here are some of the photos from the trip!

Happy New Year to you all!

My first Munro of 2025. Gaz and I started a bit later than anticipated as the views at Rannoch Moor were too good to pass by and the car park across from the beehive cairn was full to the brim.
Conditions were spot on for a winter walk. Hardly any wind with plenty of sunshine.
Although it was the first of the year, it's going to take something special to top this. If the next one is half as good, I won’t be disappointed.

Buachaille Etive Beag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Buachaille Èite Beag in Scottish Gaelic translates to, ‘little herdsman of Etive. The mountain between Glen Coe and Glen Etive in the Highlands of Scotland. Hard to believe this view from bealach of Stob Dubh and Stob Coire Raineach was covered in snow and now has disappeared in the last week or so. Steall Falls | Glen Nevis. The second highest waterfall in the United Kingdom is situated in Glen Nevis near Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland. Follow the path through the Nevis Gorge and at the end you’ll find the spectacular 390ft waterfall.
