Introducing Mark Kroos - Acoustic Guitarist !

Mark recently joined P&O Cruises Arcadia for his first Headline Guest Entertainer cruise and absolutely loved it - and clearly so did the passengers with the reviews coming in as "an excellent instrumentalist and very entertaining".

This is the best possible feedback we could get for an artist, and Mark is already looking for ways to improve his set for his next cruise onboard the Aurora next month.

MOBO are a dynamic Motown & Soul vocal group with a modern twist. All members of MOBO are great performers within their own right and between them they have appeared in leading roles in many of London's hit West End shows such as Thriller Live, Motown The Musical, The Lion King, Dream Girls and more...

They have also performed with the legendary soul artist Stevie Wonder on the world renowned Glastonbury stage!

We love it when we can help artists live their best lives!

Some of you are already aware of this, but I have some ridiculously exciting news!
My Agency, The Entertainment Consultancy (awesome people!) got my guest entertainer / headliner show booked on 2 cruises this Fall with P&O Cruises!
This will be aboard the Arcadia in September, cruising from New York to Nova Scotia
And the Aurora, cruising from Madeira to Sint Maarten in November
For each of the cruises, I’ll be on the ship for about 6 days as part of a 30 day voyage and I’ll play 2-3 shows with the house band backing me up.
It’s sort of a dream come true and it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
I’ve been revamping and practicing in preparation and I’ll try to keep y’all posted through stories.
I’ve always sort of looked at my show as a composition in itself
And I get a lot of joy out of structuring it, planning the dynamics of it, all while leaving room for spontaneity and the inevitable imperfections.
And arranging for the band (the dot’s on the staff - remember, “every good boy does fine”) is SO FREAKING COOL. After 14 years of solo concerts, getting to dictate the parts for a 6 piece band…haha it feels like the ultimate superpower.
I’m really grateful that I get to do this. Thanks for stickin’ with me, folks.

Today is International Lefthanders Day!

Studies suggest that approximately 10% of the population is left-handed, and neuroscientists have shown that left-handers use the right hemisphere of their cerebrum, which is widely viewed as the seat of creativity, more often than right-handers.

Famous lefties include David Bowie, Paul Daniels, Bob Geldof, Jim Henson, Mozart, and Bobby Womack to name just a few!

At The Entertainment Consultancy, we know that it's a right-handed world out there, but today especially, we celebrate these remarkable individuals and pay tribute to the unique talents, strengths, and adaptability of left-handed people.

This weeks' spotlight is on the outstanding The Base Tones!

The Base Tones are Simon, Rikki and Charlie.

Luke Coughlan, an Irish-Londoner, has been playing the role of Frankie Valli in "Big Girls Don't Cry" since 2020, performing across the UK, Ireland and for global audiences, both on land and at sea.

This weeks' spotlight is on the incredibly talented singer Lisa Marie Adele.

Lisa is undoubtedly the worlds' most recognised tribute to Adele. She appeared with the real thing on the viral BBC show sketch ‘Adele at the BBC’ with Graham Norton (2015), which has had over 200 million views. Adele referred to her as her ‘Big Sister’ as she takes on the full persona of the star. Her London accent and banter makes for a very realistic impersonation.

In 2019 Lisa appeared as a Music Industry Professional Judge on the primetime BBC1 show ‘All Together Now’ with Geri Horner (Halliwell) and comedian Rob Beckett. She also judged the Celebrity Christmas version of the show.

Lisa is a ‘people’ person. Happy to interact with her audience, from a distance, or on a personal level. If she can make anyone feel special, she is more than happy to oblige. Her aim is to make her audience laugh and cry in one show. Performing beautiful ballads with the emotion they deserve, whilst sharing anecdotes of her time meeting Adele.

A big thank you to Delia and Laurence for helping to facilitate a Big Girls Don't Cry show in aid of Tulips Cancer Charity in Cyprus on Wednesday! 🌷

Tulips is a Turkish Cypriot registered non-profit making association aimed at helping people affected by cancer within the region. They provide practical and emotional support to patients with cancer during and after their treatment, for as long as it takes.

At Big Girls Don’t Cry we couldn't be prouder to be participating in this fundraiser and helping such a worthy cause. We had the best time and feel so grateful that you wanted us to be involved in your charity performance...we hope you raised lots of money and continue your amazing work.
