It's good to know... how to protect your drink
'It's good to know...'
With our two 16 year olds just discovering their first party season 💃🕺(and our anxiety levels soaring) it seems a good time to share the 'Safer Streets' campaign films that we produced for the Task Force and Medway Councill a few months ago.
First up: Drink Spiking 🥃🍷
Please share with friends and family and help raise awareness of this despicable crime and some steps you can take to protect yourself.
The problem is potentially far greater than we think, have you or someone you know been affected?
More details of the campaign can be found here https://www.medway.gov.uk/goodtoknow

Kent Construction Expo
Kent Construction Expo 2022 was just the tonic we needed after a few weeks of political turmoil.
In our county we’re extremely fortunate to have a buoyant and entrepreneurial construction sector, and it’s this entrepreneurial spirit that's enabled the sector to weather the impact of the pandemic and start to plan for business growth.
There are serious challenges ahead, but you feel that the industry will take the necessary steps to ensure they'll come through this tough period even stronger.
We were delighted to be a “partner” for the event at the Kent Event Centre, Detling once again. Our Lavender Blue Media film crew were there to create a video that captured the “buzz” at the expo and to interview construction leaders, guest speakers and exhibitors.
Many thanks to our contributors; Neil Vanstone, Adam Worrall, Roma Agrawal, Malcolm Clarke, Natalie Giquel, Bruce Bell, Peter Fenwick, Steve Field, Michael Hennessy, Steve Gibbs - Kent Flat Pack Ltd Ltd , Emily Taylor, Ian Paull KNOCKOUT PRINTand Samantha Ambrose Prime Consultancy Group
,
Congratulations to Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and @Revolution Events Ltd for staging a fantastic event.
Well, did we capture the buzz????
In all our 20 years of running Lavender Blue Media, there's been no prouder moment than when we were entrusted with capturing Her Majesty the Queen's visit to RBLI (Royal British Legion Industries) to celebrate their centenary in 2019.
What an honour and the happy dance went on for days!
Memories of our Queen

Kent Vision LIVE Highlights 2022
Don’t know about you, but we can’t quite believe that Kent Vision LIVE was two whole weeks ago!
It took a few days to come down from the high that we got from simply being with so many friends, clients and welcoming faces.
And then there were all the LinkedIn invites, messages and follow-ups.
So excited that we completely forgot to the post the show highlights
Thanks to all the lovely folks for being such good sports and getting in front of the camera, this element of the job is definitely getting easier as business owners get more confident with creating their own content!
A shout out to the following who make an appearance, or just make the world a better place…

Child Friendly Medway
Some film projects just capture your heart and this was one of them.
#ChildFriendlyMedway
Every Covid challenge possible was thrown at us, from school closures, 3 lockdowns, positive Covid tests to social distancing, but it was also the most heart-warming experience.
Resilient teachers, new mums, passionate coaches, patient tutors, caring youth workers, helpful parents, 'can-do' location managers, a supportive comms team and 143 lively young people helped make this happen.
We thank you all.

Kent Construction Expo 2021 Highlights
Here's a little highlights film to evidence just how busy the Kent Construction Expo at the Kent Event Centre really was and what you missed out on if you didn't make it!
Featuring conversations with Oliver Heath Design, Guy Hollaway Architects, Willmott Dixon Construction, Autodesk, Rap Interiors, Roger Gough Leader Kent County Council and Jo James from Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.
We're honoured to have been sponsoring the event since its conception over 10 years ago.
Please share to spread the word that events are BACK!
We can't believe a whole year has passed since we built our garden pond during the first Lockdown!
Thought we'd share the moment when Louis decided it was an ideal location for some 'open water' swimming and perhaps a spa for MedwayTri was a better option than a pond 😂
With MedwayTri,
Taste of Kent award winner!
