One important thing with social media is:

Put your phone down!!

💚 You know your business better than anyone else.
💚 You know deep down what it is you need to be doing.
💚 It is all within you.

Now I am not saying do not learn new things or don’t take on advice occasionally BUT….

💡When we are consuming information like a sponge our brain gets full.
💡When we trust and believe everybody but ourselves we start to offer and do things that don’t align with us it will always feel ‘not quite right’ but it will be hard to figure out why.
💡 When we try to do what others tell us all the time we begin to lose ourselves and feel ungrounded.

Yesterday I scrapped a lot of my plans! I had been caught up by other people’s teachings, other people’s opinions. Opinions on how much I should charge, opinions on what I should be doing, even down to my brand colours and my ethos.

With an hours worth of quiet time and self meditation and guidance I wrote in big letters

I DO NOT WANT TO CHARGE A FORTUNE.

It is not all about the money for me. Yes I need to make money to live but I don’t want to be a 25k a month earner! (No offence to those who are as there is a place in the world for everybody) but I want to help the smaller businesses, the ones who NEED help to make their way on social media, the ones who need a website but can’t afford thousands.

I pondered for a moment ‘is this is my money beliefs holding me back?’ I have been known (far too often) to give my time away for free. My husband jokes that I should register my business as a charity 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ but it’s not money beliefs it’s wanting to help and going against the crowd.

So if you take one bit if advice of social media make it this bit:

Put your phone DOWN.

Sit in a quiet space with some relaxation gongs on YouTube and ask YOURSELF where do YOU want to be in your business? Where do YOU want it to go? And how are YOU going to get there? And then identify which bits you need help with.

And then have a fabulous day

I absolutely LOVE creating logos. When your a business owner there is only so many times you can change your logo 😂 and then you have to do it for others instead 🤣

Have been designing a logo for a lovely customer this evening before I get onto creating her a website. 😍 so much fun 🤩
