• Wholly hand made by me in Shrewsbury.
• Perfect for meat, vegetables, bread or cheese and biscuits.
• Wood: Fine Solid English Ash and Sapele – Air Dried for a richer colour than kiln dried.
• Sustainably harvested in Shropshire.
• It has a beautiful finish, achieved by three coats of ‘Organicook’ board oil – vegan suitable. Food and child safe.
• Size is Length = 290mm, Width = 210mm, Depth = 17mm

I will include four adhesive soft feet. You can attach them in your own pattern, or simply leave the feet off, and the board is reversible.

• The entire board is end-grain. This 100 year old tree I harvested provides rock-hard end grain, yet has a beautifully soft surface.

• Wood: Fine Solid English Oak and Ash – Air Dried for a richer colour than kiln dried.
• Sustainably harvested in Shropshire.

• The end veneering is done entirely by hand. I cut, shape, and attach the end veneer’s using wood from the same oak tree to ensure a perfect colour and tone match.

Here for sale are some lovely real wood bookmarks. I have harvested, hand made and finished them in my Shrewsbury workshop. Details are:

Wood: English Ash - sustainably harvested in Shropshire. Ash is an excellent wood as it is super shock-absorbant and wont splinter or crack.
Colour: 'Cookies and Cream'
Child Safe: All edges are rounded off to be smooth and have no sharp edges.
Finish: 3 coats of Fiddes hard wax oil in a 'Clear Satin Finish'. This is child and food safe: licking is allowed :-)
Sizes:
6 available at: L = 19cm (190 mm - 7.5 inches)
W = 6.5 cm (65 mm - 2.4 inches)
2 available at: L = 19cm (190 mm - 7.5 inches)
W = 4 cm (40 mm - 1.6 inches)

Depth is about 3mm making them suitable for any book or magazine you are reading.

Elegant Red epoxy resin really complements the oak.
It has a beautiful finish, achieved by three coats of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil in a Satin Finish. Food and child safe.

Fully hand made by me, from harvesting the oak, cutting and shaping, all of the the epoxy work and final finishing.

Two Solid Oak place mats. Each mat has grooves filled with blue epoxy resin. Each mat has been hand sanded to a very smooth finish. I have then applied 3 coats of Fiddes Hard Wax Oil, followed by polishing.

They look really elegant and will compliment any table.

Size is 21cm x 20cms for each mat.

Please Note - one of the mats is a 'second' - some of the epoxy resin is imperfect, and I have priced it as such.

Price is £10 for the pair - this INCLUDES postage (Royal Mial 1st Class) .

FOR SALE - ENGLISH OAK SERVING PLATTER, CHEESE BOARD: I personally harvested this wood in Shropshire and have air dried it for two years. I then cut it by hand to offer 'waterfall' grain at the ends. I have left the board's 'waney' edges allowing visible grain flow. I sanded the board to a very smooth finish to maximise visible grain, which I think you will agree is really beautiful.

I applied 3 coats of 'Fiddes Hard Wax Oil - Clear Satin Finish' which is food and child safe. A link to the Fiddes site is below. Finally I hand polished the board.

Measurements:
Length - 41.5 cm (415mm) / 16.25 inches
Width (widest point) - 13.7cm (137mm) / 5.5 inches
Depth - 2.6 cm (26mm) / 1.1 inches

Cost: £30 - this reflects not only the wood quality, the amount of hand work involved, and the high quality Fiddes oil I used.
