I am sure many residents will have had to negotiate delivery vehicles parked on pavements in shifnal town centre. There is a tightening of control and prosecution of these vehicles currently proposed by Shropshire Council. You may wish to see the changes and comment in the consultation on these changes at;
https://www.shropshire.gov.uk/get-involved/shifnal-town-centre-parking-restrictions/
There is also some minor changes to the 20mph speed zone that is open to consultation at;

Comment on this new proposal.

The town council has a community grant scheme which is currently underspent.
Council has decided to leave it open to further applications until year end in March 24. This scheme is intended to fund spending on equipment or other capital projects rather than continuing expenses. If you think that you may wish to apply i should be pleased to advise on the form fillinng that is needed.
