LISTEN UP, DUDE! I didn't know what to watch, so I checked out the second part of Bridgerton season three and there's this scene, NO! LISTEN TO ME! There's a scene where John introduces Francesca to his cousin Michaela Stirling. MICHAELA Stirling, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! Francesca's storyline, WHAT?! WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!!?!?? WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO HER STORY NOW???!!

Look, I'm not trying to hate on the actress or the community, I really don't want to offend anyone; I honestly think the cast changes they've made to Bridgerton are fine, they're trying to diversify the stories. I get it, I respect it, I stopped seeing Bridgerton as a Regency-era series a long time ago, because there's very little of that left, and that was fine with me.

They made Daphne's story a bit more interesting than it was in the books, okay, then Anthony getting to the altar with Edwina was a bit shocking for me because it ruined, for me, the beautiful sisterhood between Kate and Edwina, but whatever, I let it slide, later they erased Benedict to make way for Polin, and I'm still here.

But this is too much, I know adaptations aren't going to be a carbon copy of the source material, but, oh my god, they're changing Francesca's whole story, unless of course they throw in another love interest, which I'm not really into either. To be honest, there's no point FOR ME in keeping hoping for more, when they don't even care about keeping the essence of the characters, which is the least you can ask for in an adaptation.
