Here's a gig I did in Ibiza in '97. I remember it clearly as the promoters wouldn't pay me, leaving me very short on money with a few days until my flight home. After repeatedly asking for my money I realised I was peeing in the wind so I negotiated for them to book me at their club in the UK; Tall Trees. Which they never did. Quelle surprise! It was a good night though to be fair, just dodgy promoters.

I want to shed a little more focus on the new breakbeat mix we've done (Cosmic Mix) of Keep On Jumpin. There's been many attempts by many producers over the years to do their take of KOJ, including ourselves, but all to my recollection have been in a house style. This Cosmic Mix takes it in to an unexpected dreamy breakbeat arena, which for me takes KOJ somewhere where it's never ventured before. I love it and it's my favourite of all the mixes on this package. So here's a slightly extended taster to give you a better idea of where I'm coming from. I will post slightly extended clips of the other mixes in the coming days.

You may or may not have noticed that I haven't posted for a while. A few reasons for this, one - a new computer and learning the new apps. Two - for the last few years I've been making a concerted effort to revive and give LME an online presence, but I'm just not comfortable relentlessly promoting myself, I never was back in our heyday and I'm still not now. It just feels fake. I know this is how it works and always has done but I don't like it. So the constant effort of trying to get likes, followers and subscribers is finished. I'll post things when I feel it's necessary or when I fancy it. And three - it all seems a bit in vein, while I'm thankful for the people who do interact, it seems the majority of people just aren't interested, so, I'm not chasing it. If it comes, it comes. This video is just a test with my new software. Hope you like it.
