The Rabbitts
Sunday 5th October

Genre-blending folk band The Rabbitts have been described as “ethereal and understated” on BBC Radio 6 Music. Their unique and colourful sound is characterised by delicate harmonies and an intricately interwoven tapestry of mandolin, guitar, bass, and drums.

The Norwich band started 2025 with a 15-date tour of the UK and have just announced a follow up tour for the later half of the year celebrating the release of their upcoming album. The album will be a collection of the 4 EPs the band has been creating and releasing in a series to purposefully explore some of the different moods and influences that have shaped them to date. They are an ever evolving group who are constantly creating and rarely staying still.

🚨 JUST ANNOUNCED 🚨

Honey Bee Blues Club 11th Birthday
ft. Crosscut Saw, Ash & Mark & Joe, Jody Davies
Friday 27 June
£12 advance

Join us on the 27th of June to celebrate the Honey Bee Blues Club’s 11th birthday with an evening of outstanding music from artist featured since the clubs inception.

Kicking off the night -  Fargo Railroad Company front man Jody Davies will be entertaining us with a solo slot that he recently used in a whistle stop tour of the North of England.

Next up - a transatlantic collaboration with the amazing harmonies of Ash, Mark and Joe. From Austin, Texas but based in Sheffield, Ash Gray has played many a Honey Bee show with various incarnations (Couch Fire/The Burners/The Girls) as well as holding his own as a solo performer. Mark Allen is a Nashville based singer song writer who over the past couple of years has found himself in England. Founding member of the brilliant band that is Buffalo Ghost, Joe Armitage, completes the act.

Headlining the night are a band that go way back to the very start of The Honey Bee Blues Club and who played on the second night way back in 2014. The power blues trio that is Crosscut Saw. A Crosscut Saw gig is a hoodoo rollercoaster of pure primeval power - no hype, no image, no posturing, no deception; just true alchemy.

Join us for looks to be one hell of night, and maybe raise a glass to the man who made it all possible, the great man Martin Bedford - the man who created The Honey Bee Blues Club.

Our Story

Yellow Arch Studios is a recording studio situated in the heart of Kelham Island and Neepsend, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England . “Internally, the building includes a state-of-the art recording studio and rehearsal rooms”, the building also has a 200 capacity venue, a large warehouse, courtyard and Moroccan style Café Bar.

Yellow Arch Studios featured as an official venue for the Tramlines Festival until the festival was moved out of the city centre to Hillsborough Park in 2018. It is also the official exam centre for Practical and Jazz Theory examinations for ABRSM in South Yorkshire.

Kelham Island and Neepsend were two of the most important industrial areas in Sheffield in the turn of the 20th century, contributing to the world-renowned reputation of the Sheffield steel industry. 30-36 Burton Road started life as an Edwardian Nuts & Bolts factory for the bridge and shipping industry when the steel industry was at its peak. The building was rediscovered in 1996 in disarray and ruin and the Yellow Arch team designed and refurbished the building, “the same team still head up the board today and are active daily in the running, working and facilitating of the business.”
