🥧It was nice evening for the committee to come together for one last time before the Christmas break and, as usual, the pies were superb!

🎅A massive thank you to everyone, both committee and otherwise, for making this first semester so amazing for Forge, here’s to a great semester 2!

Such a great kick off to the year so far and we hope everyone has been enjoying hosting their shows!

The marketing team is planning to launch a new initiative called “Show Spotlights” where hosts will be able to submit a graphic, whether thats a show logo or a picture, and a show description which will be posted on our instagram to promote outreach for your radio show. Keep an eye out on our stories for a google form about this!!

🥳We’re excited to announce our first EGM of the year!

📅We will be meeting in the Media Hub, upstairs in the Students Union Building on Wednesday 16th October at 7pm.

We have the following roles available:
-Head of Technology
-Deputy Head of Technology
-Deputy Head of News

🗳️All you need to do is think about why you want to do the role/why you’d be a good fit and come to our EGM to get voted in. Voting will take place in person.

📻If you are unable to make it, please email a short statement saying why you’d be good for the role to [email protected] and that will be read out.

Semester 1 Programming for 2024-2025:
The number of shows this year have shot through the roof and we’re so pleased with all the interest in Forge Radio!

Theres still some vacancies (especially for Sunday 👀👀) so sign up for a show whilst you still can or contact our Head of Programming, Owen, for help!

If you’re still waiting to get trained and get going on your show, we’ll be doing loads more training sessions in the next week, so keep an eye out!!!

Shows past 10pm and on Sundays may need to be pre-recorded as access to the media hub at those times are limited! If you need help with this please don’t be afraid to reach out to us via the instagram or the whatsapp chat (join via the linktree in bio) for guidance!
