🚨 Tragic Discovery at Morrisons, Mansfield Road 🚨

South Yorkshire Police were called to the Morrisons car park on Mansfield Road near Intake earlier today after a man’s body was found. The area was taped off around 1pm, with officers remaining at the scene shortly after.

Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Heads up, Sheffield! A section of Brightside Lane (A6109) is closed today between Weedon Street and Jessops Riverside due to a burst water main in the early hours.

⚠️ The burst has caused significant damage to the road surface, and repairs are underway before it can reopen. Good news: Weedon Street remains open.
