The final chapter of Synthetica the wonderful opera buy Karen Wimhurst will be premiered at 7.30 today for the Bournemouth Arts By The Sea Festival. This final chapter is the response to the questions asked in the opera as to where we go next with plastic. Had a great day at Bournemouth University last week with Karen Wimhurst talking to Music Technology students about the making of Karen's fabulous opera Synthetica. We ran workshops and a recording session in their fabulous new studio facilities in the afternoon. We had a great bunch of students who worked really hard and were so creative.

Its here - out now - the new album Petrichor by Paul Hutchinson. This is a true lockdown story, the music was composed by Paul and much of it arranged by Seona Pritchard. Paul asked 17 of his professional musican friends, who were all laying low through 2020, to go into local studios and record. 17 players took part from all over the world including Australia, America, Sweden, Belgium and Andover! We added some magic dust from local players and here it is 9 months later. Do check it out and share if you like.

Over the past six months I've had the pleasure of producing Paul Hutchinson's latest album - Petrichor. All the music is composed by Paul and much of it arranged by Seona Pritchard. As we are all in lock down, Paul invited some of his many musicians friends from around the world, to go into local studios and record their parts. Slowly we pieced it all together and are now very excited to release this little taster video of just one of the tracks - give it a listen and a share if you like it. Album release date to follow.
