A lot of work was done behind the scenes to ensure we could finally go live today, with strict guidelines to follow. It was crucial that we adhered to both the company’s own standards and, most importantly, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidelines.

The FCA regulates financial services to ensure transparency, fairness, and consumer protection. Non-compliance could lead to serious legal consequences, penalties, or reputational harm.

At Alpha Marketing Social Media, we embraced this challenge, and it has given us valuable experience and confidence in managing financial sector social media.

🏸 We're excited to see our new advertising board up at Scunthorpe Squash at App Frod, alongside Enerco. A big thanks to Asigns Scunthorpe for designing and making the boards.

This is just the start, we're planning to expand our advertising presence across the area as we continue to grow. The cost for a board here is £300 per year for a 1800x620 spot in a high-traffic area of the club. The board itself is separate, around £85.

Marketing isn’t always just about selling – sometimes, it’s about using your platform to make a difference. Cadbury’s Donate Your Words campaign did exactly that, by taking an unexpected approach: they removed all the words from their iconic Dairy Milk packaging.

The reason? To highlight a serious issue: over 1.4 million older people in the UK experience chronic loneliness, going days or even weeks without meaningful conversation.

This campaign didn’t just stop at silent packaging. Cadbury shared moving stories of elderly individuals inviting us to “Ask Me Anything,” reminding us of the powerful impact of human connection.
