RACHEL MAKENA JOINS OUR LIVE LOUNGE 🎶

The final artist for our Live Lounge on Friday, 28th February is Rachel Makena Music, joining Pyramid Park and Alastair James for an evening of intimate, live-recorded performances.

Rachel’s songwriting brings music and activism together. She wrote "Walrus" for WWF’s World Walrus Day campaign, part of their Walrus from Space programme, and her songs "Plastic Wrap," "Can Anybody Hear Me?" and "No Planet B" highlight environmental issues.

This Live Lounge session offers a chance to hear music up close in a studio setting designed for clarity and connection.

Funding Success!

We’re pleased to share that Beckview Studios has received £6,524.25 from the UK government through the UK Prosperity Fund, administered by North Yorkshire Council. This funding is enabling us to invest in cutting-edge recording equipment, including the Neumann M149 Microphone, and Tube-Tech MEC1A channel strip to better serve artists of all levels.

Meet Kristina, from Beckview Studios one of our club members

Beckview Studios is an analogue recording and music production studio based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire who specialise in Live Recording and all aspects of music and audio production. It is also a residential facility with onsite accommodation and amenities such as a local pub, supermarket, restaurants and cafes jsut a short walk away in the charming historical village of Scalby, Scarborough.
