Great news for our Armed Forces community! The government has announced that the HM Armed Forces Veteran Card will now be accepted as valid photo ID at polling stations for future UK elections.

Although these cards weren’t accepted for the 2024 General Election, this change will make it easier for veterans to vote, starting with the local elections in May 2025.

This year we will be celebrating St Barbara's Day on 1 December 2024 at the Royal Garrison Church of St Alban with St Barbara, Larkhill. Outline timings for the Service are as follows:

1030 Standard Bearers must arrive at the Church to receive a briefing.
1050 Congregation to be seated.
1100 Service begins.

After the Service, lunch will be served in the Royal Artillery Mess, places are limited.
