Warning over misuse of anti-anxiety drug pregabalin
Michelle found her son Alex dead on the floor of his flat after taking dangerous amounts of anti-anxiety drug pregabalin.
She's warned people to "be aware" of the dangers of misusing the widely prescribed drug.
The Home Office told the BBC North West Investigations team it was intending to "carry out an updated harms assessment" for gabapentinoids including pregabalin and review their status as Class C controlled drugs.
