This has totally made my day! Froots has funded.
Colin Lee has gone through so much to get this to where it is, the reality is, is that this game shouldn't exist. It's not my place to go into details but the strength Colin and his son, Nathan, have had to muster to do this project and to get it where it is, is nothing short of inspirational.
This to me, above all other projects I've worked on is testament to the tenacity of all us little guys in the industry, the ones with a game and a dream.
So today is your day Colin, Congratulations and here's to a successful continuation of the campaign.

So, a game I worked on just over a year ago has gone live on Kickstarter. Froots is a game close to my heart as Colin Lee, the creator of the game is truly one of the good guys. Colin is so passionate about game design and has thrown his heart into this project, a simple but amazingly fun game, Colin has forged forwards with despite the personal tragedy of the loss of his partner and has completed the game with his son.

If there was ever a person who deserves a win on a game project it's this guy. Not simply because of personal circumstances but because he's tenacious, hard working, passionate about games and has created a great one.

I've started to develop some of the tiles that are to be used in Hay fever and I thought I'd share, it's been great fun to develop so far, this represents just a small portion of the tile developed.

It's been so nice to develop a game cover that's very different from my usual commissions. I'm a massive fan of horror movies so it was really nice to develop a piece for a new I.P for Beyond Killer Games.
I've had a blast designing this!

Our friends at Tabletop Gaming Magazine have just written a lovely article about what myself, and James Emmerson went through when our publisher went bust after a successful kickstarter. Not only that but they've written a lovely review about the game. Spoiler: They recommend it!

I'd love to get some feedback on this. I've had great fun over part of last week, designing a cover for Hay Fever, an up coming game from Holt Gray at Grey Forrest Games.

The idea is to parody "American Gothic" somewhat of a daunting task with it being one of the most famous painting out there. Although this is now creative commons, it's meant illustrating it from scratch and adapting the illustration to add a horse and new background.

The game itself is a middle weight game, based on building parcels of land to corral horses and build your farmland.

It's been great fun to do, let me know your thoughts. I've added some development imagery, a bit of a peek behind the scenes.
