This week's St Ives Times & Echo leads with the possible trialling of a cash depositing facility in St Ives. The photographs are of some of the D-Day commemorations and an off-grid public toilet which has opened.
Inside the paper all the candidates for the St Ives constituency have been announced. In Hayle it is hoped that the two huge cranes which have dominated the skyline will be dismantled in the near future. There are also photographs of the fundraising Secret Gardens of Lelant.

The lead story in this week's St Ives Times & Echo is two contentious St Ives planning applications coming before Cornwall Council in the same meeting. The photos are of a protest against plans for a carbon sequestration trial in St Ives Bay.
In Hayle news the town's Mayor has stepped down, there are fears creditors will not see any money after the collapse of the company behind the failed development on North Quay and there was a debate about the loss of farm land to solar farms.
Inside the paper the CORE community learning centre was opened at St Ives Community Orchard, there are also letters, sport and art.
