What a way to start the year! Sophie and Andy - the weather may have been unpredictable, but the day itself was (somehow 😁) even more fun than a game of Where's Wally!

I'm not very good at social media, and even worse at being visible (as evidenced by not having a single post with my own face 😬🤦‍♂️).

I'm terrible and awkward *in front* of the camera, but and - two rather epic 'togs, did some portraits when we were all at a wedding last year. And I actually liked them*!

So, with a suitably festive image at the end, this'll probably be my last post of 2023. ENORMOUS THANKS TO ALL MY WONDERFUL COUPLES! It has been a privilege to be part of so many incredible days this year, especially in a year that has been so challenging personally. Thank you 😊

Our last Covid wedding! Karla and Ben, you waited so long for you big day - and it was EVERYTHING you wanted it to be!

At the *STUNNING* Caerhays castle, they had the most beautiful ceremony and epic afternoon out in the sun (do you all remember the sun?! They had LOADS if it! 🤣)

A wonderful reading to kick us off (...the speaker may not appreciate this prominence in 15 years time 😂) - with enough love and laughter to fill not just 3 years, but a lifetime ahead!

Throwback this week to an amazing day with Phili and Will at one of our absolute favourite venues, Polhawn Fort !

A stunning day from start to finish, my face actually hurt from laughing so much during bridal prep 😁

Light up shoes, absolute carefree fun for couples photos, and a brilliant first dance performed by friends of the newlyweds. LOVED IT!

Lloyd and Laura - the first full wedding of 2023. And what a way to kick off the new season!!!

Focusing on the fun, they opted to steer clear of a lot of traditional elements of a wedding (no speeches, no first dance). Only fun allowed - no waiting!

We had such a brilliant day! And it was a real honour to be picked by Lloyd to film the day, as he runs his own video production company in Cardiff! (the incredible Rockadove)

It was a pleasure working with Jennifer Jane Saunders again as well (I failed in my usual role as chief snack provider, and have promised to repay my shortfall with many litres of carbonated beverages next time!) 😁

Millie and Charlie, for two people who said they weren't keen on cameras, you certainly look pretty good in front of them!

We filmed Millie's mum's wedding, 6 years ago - it was wonderful to see Debbie and Alex again as guests

The day was a grin-fest, start to finish and The Green is one of our absolute favourite venues, so we knew everything would be beautiful before we'd even arrived! And we managed to fit almost Charlie's entire speech into the highlights.

It rained. The ceremony was outside. No one stopped smiling 😁

Matt and Kate, we grinned from ear to ear for your day. The party was in full flow from the moment you got pelted with 8kg of confetti! I know the weather wasn’t perfect – but it means we got the beach all to ourselves!

Capturing you both have a laugh and a giggle as you walked down; that’s the kind of wedding love we love to capture 😊 And with the cliff top lookout style window, we got to enjoy all the stunning views without testing the true weather resistance limits of hair, make-up or cameras 😂

Some genuinely hilarious speeches, but with moments of huge emotion. And a banging dance floor. Here’s to more of these in 2023!

Married in a cathedral. Partied in paradise! 🎉

Grace and Russell's epic wedding had the grand scale of Cornwall's only cathedral, and the stunningly unique backdrop of Eden Project's Mediterranean biome - like TWO dream weddings in one!

One of the most incredible locations for speeches and dancing I've ever had the pleasure of filming at. So much fun!

Pleasure working with Rebecca Fulton who somehow covered all the angles of the enormous cathedral on her own, like some sort of elite photographic athlete!

A pretty special music edit, with friend Rach taking first dance performance – a haunting acoustic cover of “I can’t help falling in love with you”. LOVE IT!!

Proof that you don’t need the sun to make a wedding perfect 😊 The winds may have hit 200mph (we’re not exaggerating, check out the dresses during group shots!) but the laughter didn’t stop and Paschoe House could look stunning in a tropical downpour or (quite surprising) desert sandstorm 😁

AND THE FIREWORKS!!!! 🎇🎆 Incredible. Overwhelming. Lots of screaming.

Our last wedding of 2022 – and a wonderful way to finish!

A short booking for us at only 4 hours, but we got to CAPTURE SO MUCH! Truro Cathedral is incredible, so utterly grand and classy–and that theme continued at one of our favourite venues EVER, The Alverton. We had some amazing weather for December (and some rubbish weather for December!), and captures some beautiful stuff with Robyn and James. The epic locations do make our job easy!

It was our first time filming at Fowey Harbour Hotel - we're regulars in Fowey, so it was a special treat. Pete and Debbie booked the whole hotel to themselves, and it was AMAZING!
