Dan from Westleigh school gives " Impact" the thumbs up! with some impromptu vox pops! Brilliant to have such committed staff who see the value in VR projects created and co produced by pupils across the region. "Impact' charts the stories of 5 young people who are navigating a landscape of cyber bulling, drug gangs, knife crime and sexual exploitation and we follow how they manage to overcome and be more resilient to these situations. A first we think for this use of VR.

A throwback to when the Affinity training programme featured on ITV News!
A really great interview with Nidha Sinha and Chris Sykes.
We hope our work in this area will keep hate crime at the top of the agenda.

How important is body language? Do you consider your body language when talking to customers, patients, or victims?
It’s really interesting to hear how our VR training has helped police officers better understand what it feels like to be a victim being interviewed.
Not only will these two officers make their victims feel more at ease in what is already a distressing situation, but they might also find out crucial information that the victim wouldn’t have otherwise shared.
A win-win.

Do you know how it feels to be the victim of a hate crime?
We’ve been working with Greater Manchester Police to put their officers in the shoes of victims to help them get a better understanding of the effects it can have.
Here’s a bit of a behind the scenes look at how we shot the films for the Affinity training course.
