❤️ As I look back over this amazing year of almost 90 ceremonies; each one unique, each tailor-made and crafted with much care, time and love . . . I’m feeling so grateful to still be able do this work

❤️ After a whole decade of celebrant-ing, I continue to feel blessed to meet and work with the wonderful couples, families, wedding venues and funeral directors who put their trust in me

❤️ However you’re spending this holiday season, I’m sending you my warmest wishes for a peaceful, restful time

❤️And if you’re not able to take a break, then I sincerely hope you get one soon

🌟 The cosiest, dreamiest of winter solstice wedding celebrations for K and Z

🌟 The festive vibe was sparkling, the fairy lights were twinkling, the fire was flickering in the hearth, the guests were prepped in party mode and the glow of love, friendship and support was all around

🌟In the beautiful warmth of Grittenham Barn we got these two well and truly !

🌟 Their relaxed, uplifting, one-of-a-kind ceremony included secret vows (the most beautiful commitments with the funniest moments!), a unity cocktail making ritual led by Z’s best man, raucous and heartwarming guest singing, the tale of their journey as a couple so far and a truly emosh ring exchange

🌟 Christmas weddings sure have that added sprinkle of extra magic

🌟 NEXT LEVEL PERSONALISATION with a ceremony!

🌟 Leanne and Matthew were adamant from the outset, that their big moment should be completely and utterly true to them

🌟 Despite the registration service offering some ‘personalisation’ of their standard script, these two did their homework and they very soon realised that the registrar choices and additions available to them, would be very limited, compared to the celebrant experience

🌟 They wanted to choose someone they gelled with, meeting and getting to know the person who would be their cheer leader, creating and leading them through their tailor made, magical moment (and it’s just not an option to choose your registrar or even meet them in advance of your wedding day)

🌟 They wanted their ceremony to be completely THEIRS - uplifting, with plenty of energy, inclusion and gravitas - setting the scene so perfectly, for the rest of their epic celebrations

🌟 They never wanted it to be the ‘formality’ to get out of the way before the party could begin

🌟So they found me, they got in touch, we spoke, we met in person, I listened, I wrote, we messaged (lots!), we met again . . . we rehearsed, we choreographed. . . and the fabulous result was THIS . . .

💫 Celebrating the beautiful union of HANNAH & JORDAN 🇳🇿🇬🇧 (21.9.24) with guests flying in from all over the world to attend their amazing big day! 🇦🇺🇨🇼🇦🇪🇳🇿🇫🇷🇺🇸

💫 Their was pure pleasure to create and conduct; being such a central, crucial part of their celebration - they told me they wanted it to wholly INCLUDE and INVOLVE all those attending - from the get-go!

💫 Their wish was my command, with a gorgeous ‘friends and family greeting’ moment and guest vows stated with high energy, volume and plenty of commitment!

💫 Even H and J’s adorable canine companions Mowgli and Shere Khan joined in, proudly accompanying their mum and dad on their confetti walk 🎉

💫 ‘Back On 74’ was their chosen exit track, as they made their way up the aisle as newly weds!

💫Another infinity knot tied 🪢 . . . and more gorgeous souls beautifully bound together as the get-wonderfully-wed tour 2024 continues!

💫 Kat and Luke’s precious daughters, together with their treasured mums, placed ribbons over their hands with so much care and love

💫 Then personal promises were made with huge emotion and integrity, before the ribbons were pulled

💫 This fairytale woodland glade at the end of a winding path, in the garden of Kat’s family home, was filled with heartfelt support and affection for a couple whose family and community means absolutely everything

💫 To witness this belonging, this deep commitment, their genuine love and joy was a goosebump moment for sure

💫 Wishing the new Mr and Mrs J only good things to come in all the years ahead ✨
