Networking in the Dark! Happy Halloween...

Have you ever done networking in the Dark? It’s safe to say members of Rugby Webb Ellis and our wonderful visitors have today… And it wasn’t a trick! 🦇 We arrived dressed in pink - as we were hoping to hold a ‘wear pink’ meeting to support our charity The Myton Hospices. But we couldn’t really see each other. (Check out the comments for a picture of some members of the team once the sun had finally come up!) This was all down to a power cut in the local area! Our spooky meeting continued and in our President Debbie Davies’ words “with so much positivity and enthusiasm”. The feature presentation was delivered by birthday girl Julie Hughes of Hughes Probate Services, who is also our Member of the Month! 🎈 Happy Birthday Julie! 🎉 She supports families to ensure that their loved one's wishes are carried out, with help and advice on what to do once they’ve passed away. During what can be such a sad time, we often don’t know what to do next - Julie provides the guidance you need, filling the gap between the death and the funeral. As many people don’t have a Will in place the laws of Intestacy come into play, which can be very complex. Luckily, Julie’s presentation was interactive (so no slides needed) and she got the team up on their feet to demonstrate the process. If you’d like to learn more, please get in touch with her!
