This initiative is helping us to empower young digital enthusiasts through educational skills programmes and providing work experience opportunities. This past weekend, we had an incredible time hosting our two-day Video Production Workshop. It was an action-packed event filled with industry insights, scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, and editing. Our students dove into the world of video production, working on a real set with creative briefs, giving them a truly hands-on experience with professional equipment.

From cameras and gimbals to lights, microphones, and green screens, our students used the same gear we deploy for clients like Eurovision, Birmingham Festival, and the University of Warwick.

Our students learnt the ins and outs of planning, time management, and sticking to a production schedule. They took on various roles, from directors and camera operators to editors and on-screen talent. Each student got to participate in every aspect of creating a short movie, from concept development to problem-solving and final production.

Students worked both in groups and individually, showcasing their creativity through their unique ideas. The smiles and positive feedback we received from our students were heartwarming and inspiring. We can't wait to do it all again!

Another great morning with 🚀 and I joined Coventry and Warwickshire Champions a short while ago and it was a pleasure to finally receive our certificate. It was also fantastic to revisit The Albany Theatre Trust and see the incredible work that has gone into it. Albany will always have a special place in my heart as it was one of the first consultancy projects I did with Jonathan Vickery when I started my creative and digital journey.

It was amazing to hear from Chair David Meredith about creating a £6m economic impact!

Rebecca Dibb-Simkin from Octopus Energy energised us with her insights on customer experience and technology, highlighting their journey to becoming the UK's largest electricity supplier.

Dr Isabella Moore CBE CBE from The Olderpreneur Alliance shared her journey from an 18th-century thesis to supporting older entrepreneurs, helping our community, economy, and skills thrive!

Michael Murray wrapped up with exciting plans for Greenpower Park, aiming to electrify the and harness local talent as our economy transitions over the next decade.

Great to see such a bustling community of local entrepreneurs and attend such events locally. We have so much to offer as a city and region, and it makes me prouder every day. Thrilled to represent our agency and our digital academy, exciting times for us!
