Production and Operations Manager. What is that?

Here she is telling Luke, the Director, what’s what on set.

An absolutely essential part to all productions. Often it can be thought the creatives make the film happen and work. Which they do, to a degree.

But how does all of the locations, permissions, timings, crew, communications, call sheets and feedback get pulled together? That’s through the Production or Operations Manager. In our case, that’s the wonderful pronounced Kash-a.

Referred to as someone great with people, the central cog in a successful production and a breath of fresh air there’s never a detail she overlooks.

So if you see her name pop up, contact you or meet her on set you now know she’s the real deal and a vital team member for us.

I signed up for something where I’ll be speaking at an event where slides automatically move every 20 seconds.

That is very daunting. And also why I signed up.

It’s with a format called PechaKucha and it will be at The Fold, Leamington Spa this Friday 26th April at 7.30pm.

Not 100% sure how I feel about people I know going, but maybe a familiar face or two will be comforting.

Looking back at some of the images we've captured over the last year. The story behind this one was a bit of a mad one.

We were on the largest HS2 site in Europe with plenty of clearances requied. Put in one of the smallest back rooms, which we had to set up ready to shoot in a small window. The wall itself had to be built and set up. The depth of the room needed for the shot was minimal. The weather was sweltering. We were head to toe in PPE. We had 1 day to capture images of the Packout wall that were needed to be distributed on point of sale marketing materials around Europe.

It's never just an image. We loved it though. Such a great experience and crazy to see what's going on in these sites.

It's been some July. Immensely proud of the team we've had work with us this month. And myself. Can't forget to be proud of ourselves.

We've delivered some big projects with some big new and existing clients, co-hosted our first "Big" event with Lets Run Social and Nashwhite and started working with two new retainers who fit our ethos perfectly.

We've had so much fun on set with our crews and clients this year.

We don't work in set industries, as you can probably tell. We tell stories. And everyone has a story to tell.

Whether that is in the form of drone,, interviews, b roll, audio, animation, presenter, voiceover or photography. We can cover all of those and ensure your most authentic story is told.

A case study still image from a project purely for YouNeek Productions. With our new website coming soon, we want to increase the content we produce of us, for us. Giving some knowledge around our projects, how we've worked on them and the collaborations we've formed in the process.

This is Matt Designmc we collaborate with him on many projects. They're redesigning our website, we've produced a company video for them and most recently we formed a beautiful creative partnership for the Warwick Castle Christmas Lights Trail project. More details of that will be on the full video.

On the last Tuesday of every month since July, we and Let's Run Social have hosted .

Whilst it is an event we host and film for, we also got the chance to speak. This was new for us, but something we loved doing. There may be more opportunities for this next year!

What was born from a little idea on the phone to an old school mate has developed into something rather rewarding. A completely free event for local businesses of all sizes to digest insights from people in the Marketing Industry from all over the country. All right here, in Warwick.

Thanks for all those you have joined us and gave feedback so far.

It's going to get even better next year.

A brand new series to be broadcast on YouTube about 6 strangers who are willing and ready to discuss their own mental health journeys. Men rarely put themselves in a position to really talk, but with the support of a clinical therapist, we will be exploring the issues men often retract from speaking about.

We've been invited to the Ukrainian society at Coventry University's upcoming Coventry Fundraising Auction, which will take place on November 9th, 5pm - 9pm at Coventry Cathedral.

It is set up to raise money for Ukraine and spread awareness about the conflict, this event will feature an auction and exhibition of Ukrainian artwork at Coventry Cathedral. The earnings from the sale of 55 paintings totalling £30,000 will be displayed and donated to a Ukrainian charity foundation that provides aid to the nation.

Making Construction look cinematic. A series of short videos were curated across 2 sites for our client. All related to live work that showcased their services. Meaning we could capture drone, photography and video and create 6 videos relevant to their website and services. Replacing all previously used stock imagery they had. As a kid I always loved building sites, diggers and all of the elements of construction.
