After being on air for a month in March 2007, Redroad FM covered the schools half term holi

day and involved lots of organisations and individuals. In late 2007 Redroad FM was awarded a 5 year radio licence. The team of volunteers started to apply for funding to launch the station. The initial launch date of November 2009 was moved back to March 2010 and on Monday the 15th of March 2010 test transmissions started. The station launched on Saturday 27th of March 2010 at midday with the first show being presented by current breakfast show presenter Aaron Outram. Now we pride ourselves on being the station with the BIGGEST variety of music. Tune in and support your local community radio station!

As Rotherham United embarks on its 100th year, a special centenary crest has been revealed by the club.

The club says the design, will be worn for one season only, is rooted firmly in tradition. Rather than reinvent the emblem, the club made a clear decision: to preserve our proud heritage and retain the identity that has become synonymous with Rotherham United over the decades.
