Good morning everyone
If you haven’t had the chance to venture out this morning it’s a beautiful crisp day and a bit nippy. When you do head out, you’ll need your coat and gloves.

Alas, I’m not a weather girl so that’s about the limit to my weather reporting skills.

For me a Sunday has always been a good day for reflecting. I suppose any day is good for doing this. It gives us a chance and time to look at lots of things that impact on your life.

Morning facebook friends, well just morning I’m a bit late today it is Sunday mind.

I thought I’d share with you one of the low cost veggies you can buy just to make your shopping bill stretch a bit more.

Our Humble Nobly Spud
Did you know that Potatoes are high in vitamin C, potassium and fibre. Whether they are boiled, baked, sauted roasted or fried they are a filling and nutritious staple for millions throughout the world.

They are cheap to buy, easy to cook and easy to peel although I’m not sure about these ones from our allotment. Don’t know why they grew like this they look like alien spuds

I’m going to wash them to get rid of any surplus soil, then rub them with a bit of oil and throw some herbs in and slow roast them.
