The death of Marwell Zoo's male Amur tiger, Bagai

Awful news from Marwell Zoo this afternoon - the male Amur tiger, Bagai, has sadly died. Carrie Arnold, Carnivore Team Leader, said: “He was lovable, goofy and cheeky. He was always playing 'hide and seek' with his keepers, trying to hide behind rocks and plants, not realising he was bigger than all of them. “Bagai had a huge personality and was loved by everyone that saw him. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his keepers and the vet team.” Video credit: Marwell Zoo

The colours, tastes and sounds of south India came to Crosfield Hall at the weekend 😍 Around 500 people attended the South Indian Arts and Cultural Society's first event in Romsey. Marwell Zoo penguins

How cute are the new Marwell Zoo penguins 😭 They travelled down to Marwell from London on Monday, February 19, and joined Jacko, Sushi, Iggy (Igor) and Pistachio in the zoo's Penguin Cove.
