Just finished digitally re-mastering the 1972 recording of my old band...the R.A,O,C, Staff Band. Crackin' band with some great players, many of whom are sadly no longer with us, bless them. I am on the cover if you knew where to look but I was not on that album as I was at Kneller Hall at the time...absolute music heaven as far as I was concerned. Got to play with some talented players and run my first Big Band, again, with some knockout musicians like Gordon Campbell, Henry Clysedale & Peter Manfield on Bass for starters!!.....could write a book on those years.......

R.i.p.Tony Adamson who's idea it was to record a range of backing tracks,entitled..Do it Your Way. Debbie is on BV'S and I'm playing the Trumpet parts. From memory the rest of the band were from the Sounds Of The Commitments. Second track is the backing track....have fun..........

Just heard the very sad news that Stuart Burkitt has left us for the giant Ballroom in the Sky. Great memories of Stuart who was one of the foremost sequence dance Organists in the Country. The L.P. was recorded here at M.F.S. and features an original composition by Stuart entitled Rumbatina, named after and dedicated to his Daughter. Great Album title as he always wore an enormous 'Smile'..... Fond memories indeed...R.I.P. Condolences to all the Family.
