Today we say a sad goodbye to one of the oldest members of the team as we announce the retirement of our Marshall AVT150H.
Marshall was one of the first amps to join us at Cabin Fever when we opened in Penryn around 10 years ago, and they’ve been a solid member of the team ever since, moving from their to our Redruth room and finally to our Pool room.
Unfortunately they’ve been showing their age for the past few months, and sadly over the weekend they worked their final session where an issue was reported that is going to require some work, so we’ve made the difficult decision to retire them.

Hopefully arriving later today will be the newest member of the team, a Boss Katana 100 mkii head, which will sit proud on top of Marshalls old cabinet.

Our AVT will be repaired and looked after in the office as our backup amp for the forseeable, so you may well see them again. We wish them all the best for the future.
