*Kintampo Senior High School: The Pride of Bono East*

Kintampo Senior High School stands out with remarkable achievements in the Bono East region and throughout Ghana, consistently excelling in WASSCE or WAEC examination, debate competitions, and quizzes.

As the school gears up for a national competition in March, it has firmly established itself as a symbol of excellence for Kintampo.
While the school is gaining recognition, it is crucial to address the challenges posed by insufficient facilities.

The authorities are confidently reaching out to the general public, individuals, and alumni, urging them to support the school's development as it prepares for this prestigious national competition.

Together, we can elevate Kintampo Senior High School and our dear Town to even greater heights!

*Traffic on Babato Road is Becoming Increasingly Concerning*

Babato is one of the largest towns in the Kintampo Municipal area along the Tamale Road. Currently, many heavy-duty trucks use this town as a parking hub. These include trailers, fuel tankers, LPG trucks, and other large vehicles. They park side by side along the road, significantly narrowing the space available for other vehicles. Given that this road is one of the busiest in the country, a lack of urgent action could lead to accidents.

The Kintampo Municipal Assembly could establish a designated parking lot for these trucks. This initiative would not only improve traffic flow but also generate income for the assembly and create job opportunities for some of the youth in the town.

**Progress Report on Kintampo Municipal Ultra Modern Community Centre**

The Kintampo Homecoming initiative is primarily focused on establishing an ultramodern community centre. This centre will serve as a hub for various activities, including skills training, educational programs, cultural events, and community meetings. Additionally, it will provide a venue for small businesses to showcase their products and services, fostering local economic growth.

The project has received support from the Kintampo Municipal Assembly and various local organizations. Fundraising events and donation drives have been organized to secure the necessary funds for the construction of the community centre.

In addition to the community centre, the Kintampo Homecoming initiative aims to enhance infrastructure, healthcare, and education within the municipality. Plans include renovating and equipping schools, building healthcare clinics, and improving roads and other public facilities.

This initiative has brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds and professions, all united in the common goal of giving back to their hometown. It has instilled a sense of unity and pride among the residents of Kintampo.

The project is currently in progress, and the organizers are actively seeking support and partnerships to fulfil their objectives. The Kintampo Homecoming initiative exemplifies how a community can collaborate to create positive change and drive development.

*This is a very concerning issue for the people of Kantudu*

It is important to know if the local authorities, such as the chiefs and the Assembly, are aware of this danger and if they have taken any measures to address it.

If they are aware, they need to involve the community in identifying potential solutions and implementing them. This could include building retaining walls, planting vegetation to stabilize the soil, or implementing drainage systems to redirect water flow. It is also important for the authorities to monitor the situation and regularly communicate with the community about any updates or progress made. This will help to alleviate fear and provide reassurance that efforts are being made to address the danger

If the authorities are not aware of this issue, it is crucial to bring it to their attention immediately. The safety and well-being of the people should be a top priority, and prompt action should be taken to mitigate this danger.
It is also important for the community to come together and advocate for their safety. They can bring this matter to the attention of the authorities and seek their support and assistance in addressing the issue.

In conclusion, it is vital to ensure that the local authorities are aware of this danger and are taking appropriate measures to address it. Additionally, community involvement and advocacy can also play a crucial role in finding solutions to protect the people of Kantutu.

The once magnificent falls now stand nearly dry and unkempt, serving as a poignant reminder of the consequences of human actions on the environment.

According to local residents and the caretaker, the falls have been gradually drying up over the years due to deforestation and various human activities such as farming, livestock grazing, and sand mining along the riverbank.

Once a major tourist attraction, the falls now resemble a shadow of their former self. Their once-mighty flow has diminished to a mere trickle, leaving the surrounding area barren and dusty.

This situation has diminished the falls' aesthetic appeal and adversely affected the livelihoods of local communities that relied on them for drinking water, economic activities, and other domestic needs. Local authorities have been urged to take immediate action to protect and revitalise the falls before they completely dry up. Initiatives such as reforestation and strict regulations on activities near the riverbank are essential for restoring the falls to their former glory.

Kintampo Fuller Falls is not just a natural wonder; it is also a vital source of life for the surrounding communities. We must take action now, before it’s too late, to preserve this invaluable resource for future generations. It is our responsibility to protect and conserve our environment, and the fate of Kintampo Fuller Falls serves as a cautionary tale about the destructive consequences of human actions on nature.

*Kintampo Deserves Ministerial and CEO Positions*

Dear President Mahama,

Since 1992, the constituencies of Kintampo have consistently served as a loyal stronghold for the NDC, unwaveringly supporting both presidential and parliamentary candidates. While we understand that you may have several individuals in mind for various roles, we firmly believe it is time to acknowledge and reward the loyalty and dedication of Kintampo's residents.

Kintampoman ardently advocates for the inclusion of the following esteemed individuals in ministerial or CEO positions, whether in substantive or deputy roles. They have consistently demonstrated their capability to support your administration in serving the people of Ghana and addressing their needs. The Honorable Yaw Effah Barfi served as the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, demonstrating exceptional performance under the leadership of both yourself and Professor Atta Mills during his presidency. This success serves as a clear testament to Kintampo’s readiness to contribute effectively.

Here are some of the most distinguished party faithful we propose for consideration:

1. Hon. Joseph Kumah Kumah - MP for Kintampo North
2. Mr. Kofi Baffoe - Proprietor, Centre College, Kintampo
3. Mr. Fridaus Yussif Mubarak - CEO, Fridaus M. Yussif Foundation-Kintampo
4. Hon. Kwasi Etu Bondi - Former MP, Kintampo North Constituency
5. Hon. Felicia Adjei - MP, Kintampo South
6 Mr Matthew Atanga-Teacher-Kintampo South.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
