Annwyl Wrandawyr MônFM,

Gyda thristwch mawr rydym yn rhannu’r newyddion am farwolaeth ein cadeirydd, Tony Wyn Jones.

Fel aelod sylfaenol o MônFM, roedd Tony yn un o’n gwirfoddolwyr mwyaf ymroddedig ac hir dymor. Bu'n gwasanaethu fel dirprwy gadeirydd am sawl blwyddyn cyn dod yn gadeirydd yn 2016. Yn ystod ei gyfnod, chwaraeodd ran allweddol yn ehangu ein hardal darlledu FM, datblygu syniadau ar gyfer sioeau newydd, a sicrhau nawdd masnachol a grantiau sydd wedi bod yn hanfodol i gadw'r orsaf ar yr awyr.

Roedd ymrwymiad Tony i MônFM yn ddiderfyn. Boed yn mynychu digwyddiadau lleol, yn cyflwyno sioeau radio, neu'n ymweld â safleoedd trosglwyddo yng nghanol y nos, roedd o bob amser yn barod i fynd y cam pellaf i sicrhau ein bod yn parhau i ddarlledu.

Roedd yn fwy na dim ond ein cadeirydd; roedd yn ffrind, yn fentor ac yn arweinydd. Bydd ei golled yn cael ei deimlo’n ddwys gan bawb ohonom.

Mae tîm cyfan MônFM yn estyn ein cydymdeimladau diffuant â theulu a ffrindiau Tony yn ystod yr amser anodd hwn.

Dear MônFM Listeners,

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved chairman, Tony Wyn Jones.

As a founding member of MônFM, Tony was one of our most dedicated and longest-serving volunteers. He served as deputy chairman for several years before becoming chairman in 2016. During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding our FM coverage area, developing new show ideas, and securing commercial sponsorships and grants that have been vital in keeping the station on the air.

Tony's commitment to MônFM was unwavering. Whether it was attending local events, presenting radio shows, or visiting transmitter sites in the middle of the night, he was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we stayed on air.

He was more than just our chairman; he was a friend, a mentor, and a leader. His loss will be deeply felt by all of us.

The entire MônFM team extends our heartfelt condolences to Tony’s family and friends during this difficult time.
