The UK is responsible for arming Israel in its genocide against the Palestinian people. This isn’t new, as the UK has been complicit in war crimes by supplying weapons to Israel for decades, alongside military and political support for Israel, thus enabling this apartheid, settler-colonial state to commit the gravest human rights violations with impunity.
CAAT have put together a UK ARMS TO ISRAEL fact sheet, with references, which I’ve shared above. If you go to their website https://caat.org.uk/ or their Instagram, click on the link in their bio to send a letter to your MP *right now*. It is imperative we keep pressuring them, especially those who abstained or voted against a ceasefire. They have already created a template on their website, calling on your MP to speak up in Parliament to sign EDM 177, an Early Day Motion which calls for the government to immediately suspend all arms export licenses to Israel.
