I’ve got the BBC film crew coming over today to film me getting ready for my care home, and then to come and film my performance. It’s really easy to become somebody you’re not in front of a camera, so today, I’m going to try and practice being totally and unapologetically myself! Let’s see how this goes .. 🎥

Emily has been to support our KINGS gigs in the past and we have heard a lot about her, but this was the first time we heard her sing. She popped in to wow us before her dance lesson, and I’m so glad she did. Well done Emily, everybody loved you! Emily Green

Our open mic is moving from Moreton Village Hall to a more central location which is easier to get to - The Dry Dock, in Weymouth.
We are sad to be moving on from Morton - a great place, run by the loveliest of people - it was just a bit too far out of the way for some of our performers to get to.
The Dry Dock, however, is also an exceptional venue, right in the heart of Weymouth town centre. It runs a non-alcoholic bar and is a very friendly and welcoming environment to all - more like community centre than a pub, I would say.
We will be running our open mic there, on the last Friday of every month, for the foreseeable future. However, to get us started, the first one will be next Friday: 10th January.
As always, all ages and abilities are welcome. We put these events on as a training ground for people who want to get into performing so, whether you’re a hardened pro or just starting out, we would love to see you there!

Dave and I are re-vamping our FATP act for the new year by changing from backing tracks, to using the looper. It’s quite tricky but we’re having lots of fun doing it and it’s starting to sound great!
