Building a pine desk this weekend. Nothing fancy but so much better when I can get to everything. Still a way to go and trying a few things with mdf before switching to pine. The pine Proboard eliminates the need for me to have to make my own glue ups 😊

We made a small shoe storage unit this week to match the coat rack I made last week. Nothing fancy as it was made mostly from scrap pieces and off cuts from other projects but it does the job nicely. For added comfort, we bought some seating foam and some nice cotton tweed.

Coat rack finished. Mdf bottom and oak top. Next job is to make a matching shoe bench.
