What are stills in wedding content creation? 🤳💒💍

This is a common question that comes up in my dms. As a content creator yes I do take photos (aka stills) 📸 which you get alongside all the videos and reels I create, 24hrs after your wedding day. But…

Personally I find at weddings I take more videos than photos - just to make sure I capture every moment for the reels I make 💒. Content creation stills would never replace a Wedding Photographers work & photos. Content creation is something different in itself and it’s important to know that all content creators, photographers & videographers deliverables are so different! 📸🤳📹 💒💍

June Life Update! First of all, how is it the end of June already? This year is flying by. Credit to Hannah, who took this photo of me at a wedding in May. 📸 💒💍

I’m excited to announce that, as of this week, I have reduced my hours to part-time in the marketing department at the travel company I work for. This will give me more time to focus on “I Do” Content. Since starting this business in March, the last few months have been crazy. Not only did I start my business while working full-time, but I also went through the loss of someone very close to me, my beautiful Mum, who encouraged me to start this business.

So, as much as I can’t wait to start this new and exciting journey, I owe it to myself to take some time off. As of July, I have no weddings booked, which will give me time to focus on myself and sort out all the behind-the-scenes aspects of running a business, as I haven’t really figured that part out yet, lol! I will still be creating and posting content, as well as replying to enquiries, just no actual weddings. This break will allow me to come back better than ever, with many exciting weddings coming up from August onwards. 🥰

Thank you to all the brides and grooms who have allowed me to capture your special day so far, and to everyone who has booked me for your upcoming weddings – I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to live my dream. 🤳✨

Some happy life updates:
🐈I have my Kitten Mowgli - he’s cute when he’s not swinging off the curtains
✈️I have booked two destination weddings! One in Santorini this year and Italy in 2025 - ekkkkk pinch me!
🌊I have a long holiday in Mallorca with my boyfriend in July - I can’t wait
💒I’m doing my second wedding fair on the 7th of July

Can’t believe it’s nearly been a month since my first wedding celebrating Mr & Mrs H 💒 💍

I wanted to share some happy updates and spread some positive vibes ✨ (some personal and some “I Do” Content wins!)

1. Firstly this one goes to the top, me and my boyfriend brought a new kitten 🥹 (which we don’t get until June!)
2. My first ever destination wedding in Montenegro is literally 2 weeks tomorrow!! 💍✈️ I cannot wait!
3. I fly to Las Vegas on Saturday to Celebrate my boyfriends birthday🎰
4. I brought my first 2024/25 planner and have started taking bookings!
